La vera edizione Ernani di verdi con la bellissima originale regia di Luca Ronconi segue perfettamente la sceneggiatura dell'opera e l'ambiente precisamente nel 1500 davvero una regia meravigliosa gli anni d'oro della lirica 1982 1983❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Gran joya del romanticismo, una bella melodia tras otra con excelentes Arias y momentos memorables. Verdi alcanzando un éxito internacional con esta Opéra. Muy buena puesta con un gran cast y encabezado por el gran director Verdiano Ricardo Muti.
Beh, direi che hai visto una delle tre messe in scene piu' belle mai allestite. Te credo. 😂. Considerando le altre Penno-Mancini e Bergonzi - Price, non dico altro.

Non solo cantanti, ma anche la straordinaria messinscena di Ronconi, non dimentichiamolo. Comunque è vero, le ultime produzioni della Scala sono mostruose, oscene. Si tratta di un morbo operistico sempre più sciagurato. Sarà l'air du temps, chi lo sa..
una meraviglia!! ho visto le cinque recite . la Freni mi diceva che non era molto contenta della sua performance e che non l'avrebbe più cantata!! sentire e vedere oggi recite come queste... cosa non darei. è per questo motivo che alla Scala non ci vado più da anni
Domingo grande solfeggio!!! ...ottimo Ghiaurov...sicuramente il meglio in campo... La signora Freni è brava...Bruson esegue molto bene il canto Verdiano,anche se canta "al cotone"...Muti non è adatto per dirigere l'opera...
In ERNANI Act 3 the opera belongs primarily to the baritone & no Verdi singer then (1984) or even now has, IMO, sung Don Carlo’s music more expressively & with more stylistic finesse & tonal beauty than Bruson. Interpolated high notes you will not find here but these were not Bruson’s speciality. These have their place I realize with other baritones & one can appreciate that other approach as well but in the final analysis they are not one looks for in authentic Verdi singing. The virtues that Bruson brings to his Verdi singing reinforce the objectives that Verdi desired: dramatic expression, musical sensitivity, & beauty within the vocal line that Verdi composed & desired. Toscanini, for one, would likely have appreciated Bruson’s approach in interpreting Verdi’s music. He also decried interpolated high notes which, of course, did not please everyone but as far as being faithful to the score he would have admired Bruson & it’s unfortunate that they never had the chance to collaborate. I still admire the great Verdi singing represented as well by Warren & MacNeil. Their own practice of interpolation of high notes, I enjoy as well, & they had much of the musical & dramatic expressivity to honor Verdi but there is & always should be a special place for an artist like Bruson who expanded & realized even more, IMO, the unique qualities that exist in Verdi’s music.
Freni... belcanto?... no, not really.... all the vocalizes of the first aria and all of those of the cabaletta and those of the first duo with Bruson.... no.The role is a killer, needs a big soprano, with a belcanto schooling and the slancio needed to sing Verdi and the capacity to sing trough out the range, not hit the notes but really SING trough out.... not her case. Bruson is wonderful... wonderful.
Odi il voto???? No la cantó Plácido....no sé por que no me sorprende. Mutti sabía que Domingo no la podía cantar y la omitió de la ópera (no es obligada porque es un aria agregada luego por Verdi)... Escuchen a Pavarotti cantando odi il voto en el Met y se darán cuenta por qué Plácido no la quería cantar...demasiado aguda para el español casi-tenor
En todos los comentarios siempre tiene que haber un listo que sabe más que nadie y que tiene que referirse a otros cantantes que le gustan más.... ¡Qué pesadilla sois los listos que lo sabéis todo!

Pavarotti lo hace maravillosamente, y con una soltura admirable, el redescubrio el aria! e incluso cantó la dificultosa cabaletta.
