I imagine In this scene for the episode of the Digimon Universe sequel, Ai went to Tsukikage Academy along with Haru, Yuujin, Kumiko, and Astra. She had a wonderful time there, however...today is Mother's Day and all the students were talking about how amazing their moms where, Haru then asks Ai that Moms are the best, Ai lets out a yes in an unhappy way, Ai wanted to tell her friends about her Mother, who died due to a deadly disease, but if she tries to say anything, it will inconvenience everyone and laugh at her. Haru then asks what's wrong, Ai said nothing. Haru tried to persuade her to talk, but the more he did that the more upset she gets. Ai slaps Haru in the face telling him to mind his own business. Then during recess time, Ai was reading her childhood storybook "The good little witch" her Mom read to her when she was still alive. Her classmates sees it and asks "What are you reading?" Ai was shocked and says it's nothing. But Her classmate says "let me see it." "No!" Ai said then her classmates questioned her and Ai said "this is just a book I borrowed from our book shop." But then her classmate Sayaka asks her if she wants to read it. Ai lets out a "No" but her classmates still wanted to read her childhood book but this will only make Ai even more upset, she said "I said I won't let you! If you take a peek on my favorite book, I'm not your friend anymore!" She then cries, her classmates then tried to cheer her up. After school, her father was called by Principal Hoshihino that his daughter is having tantrums always crying and refusing to let anyone borrow her book, at the Kashinoki bookshop Mr. Kashiki wondered why Ai was like that, Ai apologized and then tells him about the book she was carrying all day was the story book her mom read to her when she was alive, then after her mom's death, she will cherish that book forever and ever so that her memory of her mom will never disappear. Mr. Kashiki then sympathizes her and hugs her. When Ai went upstairs her father regreted saying "this is fate" meaning that it's his fault for Ai's past trauma. And then meanwhile in Ai's room, this happened 0:00.
This CD is called "Heart Aid". It is with Akira Ishida and Hikaru Midorikawa. This CD is no longer available in cdjapan site, so I'm not sure where else you can get it now...
