James 2 is talking about relations between believers as well as how believers are to act. It is not referring to relations between believers and God for salvation.

Pastor Arnold you continue to richly bless me through your wonderful preaching and teaching ministry. Your min8stry has delivered me from so much false teaching and for that I willbe forever grateful. It saddens me deeply living here in the UK that so many churches are heavy 8nfluenced by Piper, Mcarthur and the late David Pawson...and many other Lordship Salvationist. Your messsage is an oasis in the desert..tbe dry lifeless desert of works for Salvation nonsense that crushes and oppresses people into the ground. God bless you Pastor Arnold, may The Lord richly bless you. Pastor Paul Gardiner. ( England).

Sharing this with those that think salvation can be lost.
Thank you Yankee for standing on the gospel truth that our salvation and subsequent eternal security is due to Christ’s finished work and his faithfulness to us who trusted in that as we live now live with an old flesh and new spirit nature…. But even with the choice to live in one or the other, it is all because of Him that we are eternally saved!

Those who believe we can lose salvation are described in 2 timothey 3:5 "having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof.....ever learning and never coming to the knowledge of the truth."

The Marrow of Modern Divinity was published in 1645 and is the best reformed book on exactly this topic. This pastor is exactly 💯 right. I know he's not reformed, but no big deal. Just like the reformed author of that book almost 400 years ago, this pastor has the one true gospel and is not antinomian. They both have a clear distinction between law and gospel. They both teach the correct use of the law and the role of good works.

The bible says: “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.”
      (Romans ch.6, v.14)
It seems that, according to the bible, our so-called “license to sin” is the only thing that sets us free from being dominated by it. Don’t be afraid to trust in the wisdom of God, even if it appears to be foolish. Dare to trust that God knows what He is doing. You’ll discover grace is the wisest and most beautiful thing He has ever unleashed on the world. Grace, revealed in the gospel, is our freedom to come to God without fear.

Paul taught the ( "Dispensation of the Grace of God unto the Gentiles" I.E. The Church / The Bride of Christ / Believing Gentiles & Christian Jews ). While James is speaking to the ( "Twelve Tribes scattered abroad, among the Gentiles" I. E. The Elect / The Circumscision ). The way to reconcile both Paul and James contradicting message's is to understand both Dispensations and Covenants contained in the Scriptures. Meaning the ( "Bride of Christ / of the New Covenant / New Winsekins, is not the Elect" ). And ( the Elect / Old Covenant / Old Wineskins, is not the Bride of Christ ). We know this because the Bride is caught up before Danie;'s Seventieth Week while the Elect goes through Daniel's Seventieth Week.
As Paul instructed young Timothy in
    2 Timothy 2:15
    King James Version
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

The elect are the saved ones. Peter 1:1:2
Paul refers to the elect as saved.
Nobody is justified unto salvation through works. That makes no sense bud.

@@elunico13 No Peter, and not Paul is speaking to the Elect in Peter 1:1-2. Peter said in Peter 1:2
      King James Version
2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
Paul said the same thing as Peter did to the Elect
      Hebrews 9:12
      King James Version
12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

bro. Arnold , what is dispensation ?

    • @wolfwatchers
      @wolfwatchers 8 месяцев назад

@@Romans11-6 dispensationalists believe all the bible is for us but not all is directly TO US in the body of christ ! so for instance, is the book of Leviticus for us ?? sure, we can read it, study it, get certain applications from it, but was it directly to you in me today in the body of christ , do we follow the rules in it for Gods People??
      Leviticus 15:19-23
And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days: and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even. 20And every thing that she lieth upon in her separation shall be unclean: every thing also that she sitteth upon shall be unclean. 21And whosoever toucheth her bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even. 22And whosoever toucheth any thing that she sat upon shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even. 23And if it be on her bed, or on any thing whereon she sitteth, when he toucheth it, he shall be unclean until the even.
its in the bible ! is this to us today do we treat females this way ??? why not? we divide what's for us today and what's for the nation of Israel in times past! the part you might be struggling with is when did times past end and but now begin and when did God brake down the middle wall of partition
      Ephesians 2:11-14
      Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; 12That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: 13But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. 14For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

God has different ways he dispenses his rules regulations and expectations through different time periods , so what God expected from Adam and eve was different than what God expected from Noah which is different than the Israelites who received the law which is different from us today in the dispensation of Grace no longer under law but grace
      Ephesians 3:1-7
1For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, 2If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: 3How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, 4Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) 5Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; 6That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: 7Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.
the dispensation of grace was a mystery hid in God only revealed to Paul, so was the Gospel of the grace of God so was the body of christ
      Romans 16:25-25
Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, 26But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations
and Paul wasn't converted to a believer until acts chapter 9 to receive these mystery kept secret hid in God

What about people thay don't believe in the Bible but believe in Jesus.? It's hard for me to comprehend that. Like how can you blaspheme the Bible but say you believe Jesus died for you. I believe in once saved always saved but are those really saved if they don't believe in God's word.?

I don't believe that's a true Christian if they deny the word of God. Only God knows who's saved or not since he knows the heart so it's possible a child of God could have committed apostasy but we still shouldn't consider them believers and fellowship with them if they're denying the Bible. That's just my opinion.
