Many congregations are there now baptized in Jesus name. Praise God it was a small group but our pastor came from Indiana baptized in Jesus. Came to us thirty of us got baptized and the others left. I was 22 yrs young. 59 yrs loving God. We now live in Florida. We all moved away but we are still in the Lord. The UPC church sent Bro Oliver Spencer to the Bronx. Our group helped him lots. We were there for him and his family. We started a revolution of the name. I have been to the Ocala UPC campground. God bless you for what you are doing.
I don’t identify as apostolic or Pentecostal, but I do follow the apostles’ doctrine! I’ve repented and was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and filled with the Holy Ghost speaking in tongues. God bless sister!

Catholics also have Pentecostal charismatic movements within the Catholic Church too!! I use to be one. They do all the same things as Pentecostals. We prayed in tongues we did all the same things Pentecostal do.

I am Pentecostal and shares most of what the Apostolic believes in. I don't believe women should wear pants, to have their head shaven and to wear makeup. I also believe in the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost, three in one, and believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost, with evidence of speaking in other tongues, as the spirit gives utterance. I've been exploring Christianity and find a lot of beauty in it but there are so many denominations Im not sure which to choose. Also Im bisexual so Im worried about being judged. Advice?
I used to be a non binary person, a lesbian, bisexual, etc.. my identity kept changing. I learned in scripture there are only 2 genders, made by God, man and woman. Any sexuality other than straight is a lie from Hell. Scripture also says the Lord prefers us to be single as He is, so don't feel pressured to get into a relationship 💓
Hey! I’m sorry for just now responding! I’m not the greatest advice giver haha but I’ll try my best. Honestly go to God about it, it doesn’t have to be a fancy prayer or anything big but what you can say is “God, what do You think I should do? Lead me to the place you want me to be” and ask Him to show you His word (the Bible) and try reading from there. I read the NKJV version it’s a little easier to understand haha. But the best place is to start is with Him and that’s what you’d be doing cause you’re communicating with Him by asking and then He responds with His Word in the Bible. But also I would say to try different churches out, see what makes you feel welcome, where you can truly feel God’s love and grace through the people and confirmation that this is where He wants you to be. Of course I love sharing the Apostle’s Doctrine so I offer this denomination but there’s gonna be people that may not be the nicest and that’s how it is unfortunately in the world with anything whether religious or not and I hate that cause I just wish everyone could be nice! But I pray you find the right group of people who welcome you in with open arms just as Christ did for me and everyone else because that’s what being a Christian is, being Christ-like.
