The Hawk is probably one of the best budget all round EDC knives from any maker. I've had a Micarta Hawk in my watch list for 18 months but knife collecting came to an abrupt halt with the cost of living. I'm surprised it doesnt come up more on the knife groups, very underrated knife. May try got Christmas to get one.
I see you are still using the same lengthy "mushroom-ish" thumbstuds for all variants fo the Hawk. I have to change the thumbstuds in mine because they kept catching the seem of my pocket and opening while pulling out... quite annoying. I hope you offer some other thumbstud option, even as aftermarket accessory, for this otherwise great blade. Cheers!!!
@@qspknife back lock is the most safe but the slide bar lock is very good. Button locks can be good when done right. Please let me explain. I was using liner locks when they first got released. Had two fail. One cut me pretty good. I was reaching out to cut a wire tie and hit the back of the blade. I'm not a knife collector but a simple blue collar diesel mechanic. Thanks for asking it really means alot.
My first and still my favorite QSP. The Ebony Hawk
Awesome glad to hear that it is still a knife that you are enjoying.

@@qspknife Thanks! Sorry for the poor sintaxis. Cheers!!
Why not make something with a 4in blade?
Not to mention i don't buy liner locks/ frame lock.
Nothing interesting to me just the same stuff.
What locking mechanism do you prefer as that eliminates two of the most used lock types.
