One of my favorite uses I have seen is to use them filled with gravel as an underlay for a road or drive way. It keeps runoff from creating voids under the concrete so you don't get sink holes and often.

The cover for outside steps is a great idea. The regular stuff you can buy in stores doesn`t last or stay put for long. But some old tires cut and installed the proper will last forever.

Great video. My favorites are retaining walls and buildings. The bike stand is cool. I see boat/racetrack bumps, swings, and obstacle courses all the time. The rest seemed to be art/decoration. But could you imagine using tires as shingles. Should last forever.
I can't believe there are so many uses for tires, but we still seem to have a huge problem with too many in dumps
In australia they're burning them instead of coke/coal and reusing the steel left behind.
I recently used a piece of tire for a exhaust pipe hanger on my truck. It looks good in there and should outperform the old rubber hanger that was half as thick

Great for many other uses.
They're called huaraches (War-ah'-chez) in Mexico. You can still get them. If your high priced Adidas or Nike sandals wear out, take the uppers to a shoemaker and have him glue on a retread. They'll last forever, (or 40,000 miles, whichever comes first.)

A tire wall, filled with dirt is an inexpensive way to make a backdrop for your pistol/rifle range.
Also, they can be used as a bit of a sound suppression device for your home gun range if you bolt them together so that the center holes line up and then shoot through the center area. You also need to put end pieces on it so that it's not *completely* open.
One thing you need to be concerned about with using tires for a backdrop though is that with very low velocity rounds, instead of going through the rubber, it can bounce back. I'm not sure what the limit is though, but I know from personal experience that if you shoot a tire with a BB gun, you can get the BB coming back at you and it most definitely still has enough velocity to sting quite a bit... I definitely put that on my list of things not to do again...

Dairys tie them together to hold down a plastic covering over huge piles of cow food. They use up all the junk tires in the south plains of Texas.

I have a lowline angus bull that hass a few issues with the water troughs and sometimes I find them cracked and pushed along the pin and discarded hundred feet away .so knowing he has a attraction to tires like the one I hung from a tree I ended up with a solution i drove a stake beside the troughs and hung tire from it so now he just head butts it

Grabe a non flat tire and rim cut two pieces of wood in a circle bolt to cheap rim drill hole for u ring bolt bolt on then u have a Bowe.

I like the reuses.
One can cut a tire in such a way that it looks like a rocking horse or can cut it to be a swinging horse, to hang from a tree.

Best use is to shred and reuse in rubber products . All the ideas are great , most liked is jacuzzi.
Ho Chi Mihn sandals were made from old tires.👣 They had a few on display at a Naval museum in San Diego.
Esthetically Pleasing.. Make me want to open a Tire Store, and have all these in my Shop Yard. 💖💖💖👍👍

The climb inside of it and roll down a hill . Use a stick and run pushing it . Start fires . Portable Out house toilet . Push it in to a mine field so you can make it safe to other side .

As for raised gardens, you can grow potatoes BIG time. Start with two tires. Put in 4-6" of dirt. Plant seed potatoes or store bought with sprouting eyes (eyes UP)Add more dirt, Four inches deep. As the stems/leaves sprout 4-5 inches or so, add another tire, and,more soil, always leaving about 1 inch of leaves showing. REPEAT. Keep doing that, as many times as you want, till the leaves dry back. Then harvest several layers of crop, just by removing tires.
You can even make foot ware.
i've also seen them used for backyard wrestling rings
U forgot making asphalt from old tires it has a great benefits for the safety conditions and easy maintenance for the road and last longer
You can also put it on a rim and mount it on a car. Preferably 4 of them.
If you're going to make a sandbox, make a cover so it doesn't turn into a kitty litter box for the stray cats in your neighborhood.
