Now we've all played the Pokemon games going through with our favorite Pokemon, but have you ever wondered which Pokemon is the BEST for beating the game as fast as possible? Well, in this video we go over the best Pokemon from the Generation 1 games of Pokemon Red and Blue, all the way up to the Kanto remakes of Pokemon Let's GO Pikachu and Eevee. Typing isn't as important as power in a speedrun. It's actually good to have moves that can kill but are not super effective because it saves multiple super effective texts.
Don’t forget that it can learn a fighting type move and multiple ice type moves
true movepool is not as diverse, but he is still a beast, weakness only to grasss. but u can learn ice beam for that

I just love that Water is the dominant type in the entire video, especially MY BOY SWAMPERT. When I was a kid I literally beat the first seven gym leaders with Swampert only. It was already high leveled while the rest of my team was in their 30's LOL. After the seventh gym I got stuck and simply stopped playing, but Swampert was indeed my star.

True true! pokemon like Alakazam and Starmie were absolute monsters! xD and deserve an honorable mention! But the early access to nidoking is just too damn good.. Getting a nidoran in viridian before your second rival fight.... getting a nidoking in Mt Moon xD so basically getting a third stage evolution before your second badge... that's pretty darn strong! By the time you get to Celadon you also have access to tbolt, ice beam and rock slide.... meaning your nidoking gets insane coverage (should you go full retard on nidoking xD). It's not viable in pvp because dominant psychic types. But you rip through the general game like Batista's skinny jeans...
In gen1 nidoking was absolutly broken being able to get a fully evolved pokemon before 2nd gym bage and if you get horn drill and x accurys you would be able to one shot evrything because x acurrys by passes accurrycy checks so you van one shot evrything
Psychic was best there but get a dark type and boom psychic types are over
Exactly Alakazam or even Kadabra was op with the psychic moves they have plus one spot you would have to fill with like a body slam for the dark types

@Epicfail not in GSC. Totodile is the only starter that doesn't have to grind in the early game. If Totodile didn't have Rage then cyn would be the best because it's better in the late game but doesn't save enough time to justify picking it over Toto.

Dude, Hawlucha destroyed everything in my Ultra Moon game. He is now level 96 and confirmed to be in Sword and Shield! Along with that, if you need a false swiper, he does that too! What an absolute beast...

I agree swampert is the best for gen 3, but you are forgetting the rival battle after slateport. That battle decimates your marshtomp
Yeah the early game is rather difficult. Takes a lot of knowledge of the math and damage calculations to use Torrent and X attacks effectively without getting killed. It is one of the hardest Pokémon speedruns.

Jeeze I just picked popplio out of guilt for mocking it in Moon. My Sirena in Ultra Sun is a good luck charm though, caught a shiny grubbin the other day once I got pokeballs from Kukui. My first shiny in years and its going to be a *railgun bug*

lvl 100 nidoking before brock glitches would like to know your location
Greninja is the best of the starters for me in this game compared to Chespin. I even traded for Froakie in both Omega Ruby Ultra Sun and used Froakie as soon as i could and Greninja with protean (not ash greninja) and it's really high speed makes it a good lead alongside Swanpert and Incineroar.
Greninja simply has access to a good ammount of coverage and speed.
Can I just say, I find a lot of youtubers that do skits and whatnot, have really forced humor and are drawn out. I really appreciate the short and sweet, and most importantly, FUNNY skits at the beginning. Also you sound like a badass just by your voice lol
The first Pokémon game I owned was black and I was young at the time, so I chose Tepig and didn’t know how to do much of anything else. Long story short, I didn’t make Tepig out of the lead spot in my party and it was essentially a solo run with Emboar.

Popplio is an amazing pokemon for a speedrun, but when you get to Mallows trial your gonna need to either grind for 3 hours or get a pokemon from the previous trial
If you want to have the best starter you have to start with the starter that sweeps through the early gym because you have more choices for Pokemon like bulbasaur can sweep the 2 first gyms after that you can capture more Pokemon to help you get to the rest of the gyms

Welp the Water starter seems to be the strongest in most Gens. I picked between fire and Water. Gen7 was the First time I went with Grass
I beat sun and moon with a team of Primarina, Lucario, Gardivour, Banette, Roserade, and Zoroark, I swapped Zoroark with Lunala with the legendary when I got it, I had some issues on the way but it was more or less a simple task, I wonder what other team combinations I should try lol x3

When Red and Blue were released in North America I picked up my first handheld. That being a Grape Gameboy Color. I also picked up both Red and Blue version without knowing anything about these games other than the box art and not even knowing what "Pokemon" was. I decided to play Blue first because...blue is my second favorite color after green AND the cover art reminded me of the Gargoyle dog from the Cartoon series "Gargoyles" for some odd reason. When the choice between the 3 starters was given to me I saw all of them and Squirtle immediately stuck out to me. The little head and beady eyes sold me. And that's when I decided to nickname it "BB" after a BB gun. BB and I took Kanto by storm!

I used to have a nidorino and I had no clue that you had to use a moonstone to evolve it so I leveled it up to 100 and then got really confused when it didn’t evolve

Infernape is a beast in the Sinnoh games along with Empoleon. Infernape's Close Combat can destroy Barry's Empoleon. For Empoleon games, it's ridiculously broken where you can destroy Barry's Torterra due to double weakness to Ice.
For Kalos lucario is good but when you get to luminose city and fight the professor you can get bulbasaur squirtal or charmander and the mega stone for them so if you pick charmander and then use super training to max out its sp attack base stat then when it evolves into charizard you can teach it a special fire type move (like flamethrowers) and mega evolve it so it gets the bonus from its ability (drought) and the same type advantage as well as having an op sp attack which destroys everything
1. Focus sash on hawlucha
2.ultra necrozma smacks it in the face
3. Use endeavor
4. Quick attack with another Pokémon and boom

I would actually say Pyroar is one of the best Pokémon for gen 6 because with that Special Attack stat combined with Flamethrower and Hyper voice my Pyroar absolutely blew through the game once my litleo evolved

Like with Nidoking in Gen 1, you can do this with Rhydon. In Gen 2 X Accuracy is still broken so you can One-shot anyone with Horn Drill, but it's harder. I used this OP strategy to destroy Lance's team in Crystal. :)

Aegislash is op for gen 6 though as basically nothing can touch it and it is obtainable so early on as honedge and with a video tutorial it is possible to get a dusk stone

The best for me to use are what I train the most with. As for powerful Pokémon in Sword and Shield, it’s either the Scorbunny line, Sobble line, or Corviknight(giantamax). And for the memes, Wooloo.

Good Vid on thing I kinda found was annoying was you where talking about ORAS when saying Primal Evolution, its actually Primal Reversion. Since its reverting back to what it was then all the fossil pokemon where alive in the wild. Other than that I enjoyed it.
I’d argue Feraligator is still the better line to go with in the remakes because of Ice Fang and that it learns all required TMs in both versions
