Story time: in my first draft of this, I made lyrics for a "Zombie Anthem" about how much they love eating brains 😂. We ended up going in a slightly different direction, but...should I sing and release the Zombie Anthem?? It would take some work, so only if people _really_ want to hear it.
Makes you wonder about the different groups of mobs in this music world. Do all the hostile mobs sing like that? Or maybe it’s just this specific group of zombies? It’s fun to think about
I like how at the start, Green's noteblock sounds are off-tune and doesn't fit the style of this song, because he just got out of the woodland where the animals sing in that different style, and just AFTER the first baby zombie's verse he understands the style and replicates it
I think Green uses the same notes as in part 1 to ask “Where is Purple?” With an octave change of course. Love the additional part of this track! EDIT: thanks dedede, it's the number of notes and the interval, not the notes themselves
I remember hearing this track at the beginning of episode 28, and didn’t think much of it. Until I watched episode 29 and got to the zombie part, I definitely heard this from somewhere
Pitch bends. You'll start to appreciate it when you know you can really make a lot of hot and funky jams out of it. Thanks Aaron, for sharing this, I'll be honest with you, I'm learning music theory and I wanna make this as a reference to my journey learning chord progressions. I am really thankful for this beautiful masterpiece you've created.
@@aguyontheinternet8436 this version has reverb the entire time, but in the episode where it goes from no reverb to reverb when they enter the cave, the reverb is more noticable. take a listen! ( ruclips.net/video/4P6l35M61GY/видео.html )
I feel that I connected with this track the most out of all of them (save for the last, tragic backstory one, but that's not a fair competition). It took me a moment to figure out why, but now I know. The chord progression is pretty similar to Jazzy Note Blocks at the beginning! Not exactly, but enough to feel like an allusion. And as someone who is a sucker for leitmotifs, I'm a fan.
In episode 28 the raid, alan was advertising cheaper shipping of merch to 5 southeast asian countries with some music playing. The music was the one at the beginning of this video
I looked at your video on the home page. I gotta say, you look like the most retro 60s guy ever. I freaking love your style. Have a great, awesome, day.
Hey Aaron I just subscribed and I gotta say I love ur music especially this one keep it up and hope ur having a good day, bringing you love from South Africa

Yes please

100%!
Yes!
Everyone's already giving lyrics to these, you gotta
I love how the zombies end up sounding disgusted at the regular noteblock.
Makes you wonder about the different groups of mobs in this music world. Do all the hostile mobs sing like that? Or maybe it’s just this specific group of zombies? It’s fun to think about
They didn’t seem very disgusted to me
@SizTS When you enter the end and the boss music kicks in
@@pineapplekid6220 Nah you could tell they didn’t like the noteblock on its own, they all turned away from it after Green started playing
@@Phi_Lix yeah now that i watch it again, they did seem to not like it, though i wouldn't say "disgusted" lol
The zombies having a smooth slow music theme really fits perfectly
The zombies: I am… disgusted…
bro if u listen to it closely it sounds like a song I know when the sand zombie comes in
Like listen this sounds like a song when the sand zombie comes in 0:47
0:47 start of song and 0:56 end

Did you not see that the zombie handed him a lever to act as a note slider and a different instrument?
The baby zombie, im saying
@@gapplssb I think he meant before green got the lever
Greens just that good with music
@@gingerbentley326 i mean he without anything rivaled the skill of 4 people on music potions at once
Villager music is almost ready. Should be out tonight or early tomorrow! Then beatboxing llamas. Stay tuned!
The beatboxing llamas were such a cool idea with the spit
I love jazz
yes.
yes.
YESS
i need it
It's good that you decided to make these separate songs!😁
Nice song btw Im the kid from yellow group Colburn school
I wait For the video
1:08 sends shivers down my spine :>
Same
Same
Same
awww not same
Yea, that vibration on 1:12-1:13 is truly amazing.
i love how when green first hears the different kind of music, he uses what he has to try and imitate it
literally love that so much, such a good detail
We need a full version of these songs.
That’s what you’re watching
There is dude.
Alan Becker vid
@@ryangao9673 they meant like this part was only quarter of a song and we need more of it
Aaron said that he'll make extended versions, so stay tuned
Has he done it yet?

They are very similar besides the last two notes! Good ear, definitely an intentional lietmotif.
Yeah, good ear, very similar! And same for the villae tune, though the rhythm is different.

It was a shirt promotion I think, and where countries had cheaper shipping or sum lol.
@@AnthonyDinh Yep
I was thinking the same thing, I thought it sounded familiar when I was first watching it! Cool how we got a preview without knowing
28?
This is my favorite of the songs. The jazzy boyband feel it has is just *chefskiss* so good. The 90s is calling and wants their sound back.
this part is literally my favorite in this episode, it's really funky and catchy, it's always playing in my mind, I love it so much

I really like this section, because you vibe with the zombies.
such a good tune! i also love how the reverb is only added when they enter the cave in the episode :))
It doesn't sound like there is reverb?

The Zombies being undead but seeming so lively is so good.
I wish they could add that lever trick with the noteblocks in Minecraft haha
*lever

maybe with create mod, as levers in minecraft only have 'on' and 'off'
the levers added with create mod can go to 16 different stages

Who would've thought such a zombie boy band could be that *hypnotic?*
It was just a normal day until this episode came out... I loved it

I can’t stop coming back for these themes in the video! It pairs exceptionally with the animation

Possibly my favorite song by you in the entire episode!
Honestly, it's probably my favorite too. Although beat box llamas is a close 2nd!
To be honest, Scene 2 Zombies happens to be my favorite out of the rest.
I don't know if i like this or the Wanderer Trader more, i feel like the latter is too short

"Have you seen Purple, Where is he...."
