I found your music through my sons things cleaning up his apartment after he passed away from a tragic accident June 19th 2022. Only 26 years old. My son struggled most his life with social anxiety and went throughout high school being bullied. He later found friends in the most unconventional places. He never judged ppl. Just let them be, he eventually found purpose helping those who struggle, help find a place to sleep or eat., furniture make doctors appointments. He volunteered at a place that would let homeless shower and do laundry..
I haven’t stop listening to X ambassadors since he passed..I see my sons life through these songs, I resinate greatly, he had a burned cd in his player.. (old school I know) warned my heart actually. I gave it to his 8 yr old son, my grandson who plays it regularly. I get super emotional listening sometimes. My Child, Renegades (my son skateboarding every night down our street)
This one No Strings hits hard. He just wanted to be who he was, no strings. Love my and miss my loving child Nathan so much. His Birthday is April 5th. Your album release date. I found that special.

@starlight7041 I am sorry for the loss of your young son. I hope you won't take this as a criticism, but you said he just wanted to be who he was, no strings. I didn't know him but reading your post, it sounds to me like that is exactly what he did! How amazing. Even in his short 26 years he likely made more of a difference to the people who needed (I do mean the ones that actually NEEDED some help) someone that actually still gives enough of a f about another human being to make it his mission to put aside his own daily life long enough to help someone else. Because HE wanted to. I think that is living. He"leaves behind" you and his child, unnamed/unknown others, and a refusal to live as a victim mentality) It's Wonder full that your grandson is with you, not being raised by ???? There has been so much loss in these past 2 years (I am 54years old myself, never considered my life would be as it is now but I'm not posting for this to be about me. I do know about "loss" of loved ones. Just putting this part of my comment For the "keyboard critics and bots". Conversation? Yes please. Arguments? Not here! ) Wishing you peace, strength and good memories~

Omg.... when I read your comment my eyes skipped over the word 'Ithaca.' Without even seeing it's Ithaca, somehow I just new it was rural New York. Hm. I've never been to New York (City or upstate). I think the closest I've ever been to NYC or NY State is Washington DC/Maryland. I've been a lot of places in the western US, but not so many in the east. I lived in Newport News nearly most of my life. Until 2019.since 91 when i was born. I was never a fan of my town until I moved to Hampton. After Dealing with my dad for so long. And just tension with him. My mom was Always the caring one. Who help find the best Living situation for me When I moved to Hampton, I definitely found my Hometown. I still have a good relationship with my mom and stepdad. But me and my biological dad have split ways. I feel more freedom than ever in my 30s. I feel like now I can live life with no strings attached. This song is now the anthem of my 30s. Very happy to have gained my freedom
