Missing part of the beginning on this episode. Here, Nicodemus has a really bad day, with Ferman Farnsworth cutting his pay just as T.U. Tutwater arrives to collect on a loan. Nic then snaps at Miss Lana over an order then gets in a fight with Elmer Barnes.Ultimately, Nicodemus (after Gospel Bill had to lock him in the jail long enough to cool off) learns the importance of spending time in God's Word and worshiping Him.
Oogene doesn't fare any better after getting in a fight at school, then nearly blows up completely at Jeannie when Jeannie (cleaning his room to keep Oogene from getting in trouble with their mom) accidentally breaks a favorite toy.
The At the Zoo segment doesn't send Oogene very far, as the prairie dog is the subject here.
Song featured is called "Read the Word" (I think that's the title, that's the main gist of the song, anyway)

That's right; our Christian brothers & sisters, like I'm sorry I've had to learn the hard way, it's very better to deal with & control our temper with the LORD's Holy Spirit as our Master Guide (& His Holy Scripture as our written Guide) than to think, speak, or especially act angrily in a way you'd regret later! Amen!
Nicodemus reminds me of Randy from South park lol this show is still good seeing it 15 years later

Those things are connected you know, and Gospel Bill was right to tell him he should have been reading his Bible praying and getting refreshed, not letting himself get all stressed.
So glad you are doing this! I love this show to this day. Love the entire cast. Wish i could get updates on them besides Willie George and Ken Blunt. Recently saw Ken Blunt on BVOV at Eagle Mountian.
