I have had those picks for more than 2 years and love them. No breakage issues and they fit my hand comfortably. I don't have those looms but they look sturdy.
I can’t wait to see some patterns from you with these looms yes I own them since release date. The kb hooks are fantastic!! I’ve owned the same hook for 3 yrs now . I find it so much easier on my hands.
Those are my favorite looms to use. You can only make so many hats with bulky blanket yarns before you start wanting to try other yarns. I love the smaller gauge looms because I can use thinner yarns with them, so much more versatile. And those are the only hooks I use. I will say though, I’ve had to replace those looms and hooks regularly because I tend to be hard on my tools and end up breaking the hook and the pegs.
I love the KB ergonomic loom hooks! My husband also likes them as they fit better in his larger hands. To be fair they are a still a tiny bit small for Hubby's hands, BUT he does like the ergonomic KB loom hooks and feels they are more comfortable even for his larger hand size.. We have not broken any of our KB ergonomic hooks and I have had my first one for I think at least 4 years. I have all these looms and I find them smooth and easy to use. I did get some rubbery stitch markers so I could tell where I started. But I have also used some masking tape (you could use frog tape or tape that not too sticky that peels off cleanly) to mark my first peg or pegs that are associated with pattern changes on these looms. Also just to mention I also use these thing on traditional looms that do have a starting peg, just not to mark my start point. I am looking forward to see what patterns you come up with for these looms.
Thank you for the input! I wonder if your husband could find something in the automobile section that would work better for his hands. (Similar to my normal pick I use.) My next video is what I decided to do for a starting point. (Video will be up at the July 13th 2022)
@@SimplyIntertwined That is a good idea, we have also been thinking about trying one of the cricket weeder tools, I believe that is what Mikey from The Crochet Crowd uses if we can find a shop that carries them so that we can physically hold the pick to see how big it is. We live in the UK, plus my husband isn't too fussed about spending money on something we already have. Thank you for your suggestion, it is appreciated. xo
I have been thinking of getting a set of the hat looms to make some for children that attend the pantry for food. I am sure the need is there but being able to do it is something else. Great to see you're doing well.
That's great! I know other places carry them, it was just easier to not worry about shipping costs since I have Amazon Prime. But I'm glad other places carry them. (I don't have ANY of those stores near me so I would have to have them shipped no matter what unless my Walmart has them by chance.)
I have similar KB Looms, larger gauge. KB does have a shipping charge do Amazon is best if you have prime. KB looms have never broken, seem well made. I have a stitch marker to mark peg 1. Been using the orange hook for quite awhile, it’s my favorite and I have a spare one.
I hope you make some new stuff! I bought some looms , I have not been using. I’ve just been knitting 🧶 I like the knitting board picks. The blue kb picks are my favorite.
I will be making a baby hat soon on one of the looms and then more adult/teen hat after that. (The baby hat will be up this month, the others in the upcoming months.)
I have both of these looms and love them when I use the no 3 yarn or finer Also great for making a lace panel for a cardigan or necklines etc Great for making lacy shawls also.
Hi!! Great to see you making videos again. I do have all that you showed today and they are very nice looms and great quality. I do not care for the hooks because they come apart. The metal actually goes a small way into the softer handle when it should go all the way through in my opinion. I use the weeder tool that is made for a Cricut but I use it as my loom tools they have a great length and they are smooth and just a professional feeling tool. I am guessingnupu haven't tried the Flexeelooms yet. When tbey came out that has become my "GO TO" looms. I love how we can decrease and increase as needed as well as we can use whatever number of pegs we want. No more set amount of pegs and the decrease crown on hats look like needle knitting amazing!! I still use other looms when I have a large project going but in the Flexeeloom group I am making a King size cheveron blanket with 234 pegs!! My experiment!! Love how they fold so you can grab your knitting and go using a regular knit bag. You can still decrease with K2tog on the loom you have but it will not be flat crown. I use a marker for my start. Some ppl use a permanent marker for the groove of the start peg. It all works fine. 🧶🧶🧶
Thanks for the input. I do worry about the looming pick breaking, I will be testing it on a project soon. I have heard of the flexeelooms and seen pictures. I might put them on my "wish list" for a later time.
That might work. I have done the marker idea before but it has rubbed off over time. Next week's video shows what I did on the looms to help with knowing the starting point. So make sure to come back and see. (It will be up next Wednesday July 13th 2022.) I am easing back into making videos.
These hooks work great for me. The looms also work well for me. It does help save on yarn. 🐦🌷😊 Thank you for sharing.
I'm glad they work well for you! Good luck on your projects!
I love ❤️ those looms!
I am hearing a lot of good reviews for these looms! Thanks!
Those looms are great for working on a 10 stitch blanket
I have never attempted a 10 stitch blanket. It makes me nervous. LOL
I have had those picks for more than 2 years and love them. No breakage issues and they fit my hand comfortably. I don't have those looms but they look sturdy.
Thanks for the input. I didn't realize they have been around so long. I hope they work well.
i love the looms !!!
Thank you! Do you have them?
I have had the looms (both sets) and the picks for a couple of years and love them. The quality is very good.
That's great! I will be making a project soon.

I have some patterns popping into my head. First will be a baby hat but I have other ideas I hope will work out.

the loom hooks definitely work and feel better than the hooks that come with the loom sets.
I'm glad you like them!
I have the ergonomics orange hook love it
That's great to hear! I hope it like it too.

I think that will be great to do for children! Hat are fun to make and usually don't take too long to do.
Beautiful afternoon I heard to see the new loom items. I have both of the looms baby and adult
Nice! I assume you like all the looms? I will be doing a baby hat on one soon!
Michael's, Joanne's, and Hobby Lobby, carries those looms

guy-how’s life?- bravo- beautiful recording.👌
Thanks!
Is there any reason you can't write in Sharpie or if you have an engraving tool you couldn't write the gauge on the looms?
