I ordered a Mustang Dark Horse in ember blue metallic, with the performance package. I look forward to adding K&N cold air intakes, a Whipple, and maybe Borla exhaust.
Very excited for this car! Have been a life long Mustang guy, and my dad has been a life long Dodge guy, and the both of us are very excited for this car to arrive! I was tempted to get the ecoboost, because as you mentioned, 300hp out of the 4 cylinder is more than the v8 mustangs were producing 20 years ago. But the sound and the lack of a manual pulled me back into my senses and I ordered the V8.
i hate this trend of ipads glued to the dash for all the driver info. they look like the interior designers forgot gauges and theyre just an afterthought
Ford nailed it. Except for mpg. My BMW 430i gets excellent mileage in the same weight car with a smaller engine! There's no excuse for less than 24/33 in any car these days - and my BMW routinely gets 36 hwy.
PSA: Please do not use your handbrake to "drift". It is a fundamentally incorrect way to handle a car. Not only is it unsafe, it is unpredictable and impossible to control. Please practice your "drifting" by gently bringing on the power until the car starts to slip, and dialing in steering gradually. It is a finesse sport, not a strength sport. There is no brute forcing proper technique.
Why would Ford add even more (besides new exterior, interior quality and digital instrument panel, and engine tune for both engines) to a vehicle with low sales numbers, hurts their corporate average fuel economy ("CAFE") ratings and likely won't be around for more than a few more years. The "more" they added is that they even still produce it, at all, for car enthusiasts.
@@kenhoward3512 because the mustangs was the first “muscle car” and is now going out as the last. Should go out with a bang, not a fizzle. And being the last model they should have expected sales numbers to go up.
I just don't like this 2024 version, i don't like the design of the front and i don't like this huge screen "sitting" on the dashboard. Ford's marketing department more or less destroyed a good product.
Poor interior quality, in anything over thirty grand, is never forgivable. It was one of the reasons I've never owned one. Not a huge fan of the twin I Pads, but I could deal with this.
@@billyrock8305 I am 28, I would by the Dark Horse just to get the Tremec, then have a coach builder make it into a convertible since Ford refuses to....but sadly I am too poor to even afford an EcoBoost. I drive a 98 Sentra with a manual that I painted Kubota Orange myself with a 4 inch roller....fun times. I used to have a 2014 Mustang V6, but I gave it to my mother since I wanted her to have something nicer.....I used to have a Camaro Z28 6 speed manual convertible but I had to sell it to pay medical debts since COVID almost killed me, and I still never fully recovered.

“Please go for the V8, it’s the only right answer.” 😂 Love it…
"Of course there's the sound." Reward for the right answer

MSRP or dealer markup on the order?

Cockpit toggle switches is not necessary a delete feature
I love the new Mustang GT with the Ten R 80 the best great show thank you very much for the update from Sydney Australia 😊
is there a lot of cowl shake ?
Great legendary car. I hope it will be in a production for awhile. What other options do we have nowadays? BMW M5 for $90k or Corvette for $110? 😊
BMW M2, Supra, Z, RS3, but nothing direct. Thanks for watching!
@@marktakahashi4937 The list you mentioned are nice sport cars, no doubt, but they are not in a Mustang league at all.
@@sosimpleandrew agreed. Mustang is in a class of its own again.
Fantastic review. Long live the Mustang
Great review. Everything is on point.

Someone’s giving you this or the new M2…which are you going with..???
All I see is Darth Vader's helmet with the air vents and below.
No excuse for display lag. I love Mustangs and I have a soft spot for Ford but they really need to iron that out.
That is a good looking convertible for sure.
It looks nothing like a Camaro. Although it does look a lot like a 1971 Mach 1 mustang which actually had bigger side haunches in the rear.

I detest loud cars. Especially if I'm driving.
Ford markets this expensive car to gen z and millennials but we are broke. Lol good job on th screens. 😂w😂😂
The interior door panels are identical to the old one, same with the center console and the seats look very similar too. I expected more

its good that they added big dashboard because now it has modern interier
The Mustang is a Pony Car, not a Muscle Car.

I’m trading in my car for a fully equipped GT or a Dark Horse

🤣
I’d take the 1/4 Horse. Much better investment! 💰
