I think so too! Definitely a number of filter layers to prevent lint from entering the condenser. I also checked the condenser and it is staying clean so far!
I am hoping Samsung would sell it under laundry accessories at some point. I'm sure Samsung Parts would sell it but it may cost a lot. I'll have to look into it myself.
Hello. I am having an issue with this unit and i already tried everything with samsung customer support. I am getting a message saying "check if the filter is inserted properly, then tap start to restart the washer. Or, turn in off and on again after 2-3 minutes, then try again. If the issue persist, contact customer service. Error code NC. " I have look at the code from the samsung website and it had to do with the lint filter. I have cleaned it alot of time and out it back in the washer dryer machine and i never had an issue before, now i cannot get rid of that code and the machine won't start washing. I did a factory reset, i did a circuit breaker reset, i unplug from the wall and waited 3 minutes and nothing. I restarted the mach9ine several time and nothing. I vacuum the inside gentle with a plastic hose extension and nothing. No matter what I do, i am constantly getting that error. I wonder if I am the first person ever to experience this issue as I cannot find no information no where on the internet since the machine is still new. Can you give me some ideas as to what it can be causing this error all of a sudden? Thanks is advanced
Hey there, sounds like a sensor that detects the lint filter is malfunctioning. I'd have Samsung have the tech come out and replace that part responsible for the error.
I am having this exact same issue and Samsung was no help. how did you fix it please advice. They said it was a part to replace but I cant find the part or now where it goes. please help.
Finally figured it out. Writing this for others that may have the same issue in the future. There is a little compartment on the lint filter that houses a magnet. if you are having this issue NC it means that magnet fell off. replace that magnet and you will be fine. it can be any magnet as long as it fits in that little compartment. you can get it at home depot. I am not a professional but it worked for me. You can keep the magnet in place with super glue so it doesn't come off when you remove the lint. Its really frustrating because the washing machine will not start without it but hope this helps.
Does it filter well? Yes. Does it get dryer lint all over the place when it’s time to clean it? Most definitely. Does anyone have a technique to minimize the lint from going all over?
Excellent filter system!!

@@vaiotuber any updates on the machine's performance??
Hello good day by chance do you know where I can buy another lint filter?

How does this compare to the LG so far?
I will probably create a short video and compare the two. Both definitely have their advantages and disadvantages. So stay tuned!
