Joe is still in amazing shape and looks 10 yrs off 51 . Frotch was World class for sure and a worthy champion but someone has to be the best of all time and for me it's Joe .The boxing master class that he put on against the unbeaten and much-feared,Jeff Lacy will go down in history ,a truly magic night .

Joe is an all time great! As he says his record speaks for itself. Froch is entertaining and insightful often when he comments on the fights. He’s an alpha who backs himself. Jeff Lacy. End of. Best super middleweight of all time was Joe. And I love Froch, I spend too many hours analysing this sort of stuff, and I’m sure Joe would have danced around Carl, boxed his head off from range with the odd aggressive front foot sortie. Carl would only have had a punchers chance, and he’d not have got close enough.

Done amazingly well, considering his hands were fooked for the best part of his career. The closest he came to losing was Robin Reid, although he definitely won the fight imo.
Froch was very good. Loved watching him fight. But Calzaghe was at a higher level. He had so many ways to fight ...changing styles midfight and beating every single boxer he fought. He would have worn Froch out in the later rounds and maybe got a stoppage but definitely would have won easily on points.
Said in the late 80's a Mike Tyson V Joe Frazier would have been some fight if they were in the same era and a prime Calzaghe V a prime Andre Ward would have made another belter. Froch V Daffy Duck, hmmm maybe?.

If Carl would have fought Joe after the Hopkins fight then he may have won as Joes best days had gone and he was fighting with a lot of injuries. Now a peak Joe would have been too fast for Carl and won unanimous. Unfortunately this is what happens when they are fighting in different era"s. I don't think either of them would have questioned if they could have beaten Hagler 🙂

A prime Calzaghe was fast, was mobile, hard to hit cleanly, had a great engine, great chin and could hit hard before the hand problem’s developed. I think a prime Joe has enough in the tank to frustrate Hagler and win on points.
