And I love Froch, I spend too many hours analysing this sort of stuff, and I’m sure Joe would have danced around Carl, boxed his head off from range with the odd aggressive front foot sortie. If Carl would have fought Joe after the Hopkins fight then he may have won as Joes best days had gone and he was fighting with a lot of injuries. Now a peak Joe would have been too fast for Carl and won unanimous. Unfortunately this is what happens when they are fighting in different era"s. I don't think either of them would have questioned if they could have beaten Hagler 🙂

Hagler was a middleweight Joe was a super middleweight different sizes.

@@mrjw6701 IMO despite the slight weight advantage Hagler would have walked them both down because their punches would bounce off him then he would go in for the kill. But this is only the same speculating like Carl and Joe are doing from different era"s and does not take away what they both have achieved 🙂

@@SUMPLEMIX I think Hagler beats Froch he’s taylor made for him,he’s too open too easy to hit, I think a late round TKO. A prime Calzaghe was fast, was mobile, hard to hit cleanly, had a great engine, great chin and could hit hard before the hand problem’s developed. I think a prime Joe has enough in the tank to frustrate Hagler and win on points.
