The so-called "smuggler´s moon" is best know for one thing: anything can be bought here if the price is right. Nar Shaddaa orbits Hutta, homeworld of the Hutt Cartel, but exists as a power in its own right. Criminal organizations and legitimate enterprises operate side-by-side, regulated only by the Hutts´ whims. Gleaming skyscrapers house corporations, casinos, technology shops, spice houses and every other type of business imaginable.
Although no other world offers Nar Shaddaa´s unique services, the city has a notorious murder and disappearance rate. Gangsters, pirates, slavers and worse crowd the streets, and Republic and Imperial representatives compete for influence with the local powers. Strangers should be extremely cautious.

Nar Shaddaa is one of the most atmospheric locations in a game ever. I'm absolutely in love with it and it's always my favorite part of leveling a new SWTOR character.
I keep telling myself, "I'm done. I had my time from beta to KotET. It was great fun, but that's it for me."
But then, i keep coming back to vids like these and then I think, "Just load up again and log on. Reroll one more and vanilla level, for old times sake."

I am a huge fan of the two KOTOR games. I think they are milestones in gaming and Star Wars history. When I heard that they were planning to make an MMO rather than a third KOTOR back then I was really dissapointed and never even tried it out. So more than a decade later and I finally tried it out because I thought "Why not". The first few hours I actually kinda enjoyed because I thought it was fun. It's way simpler than the KOTOR games in terms of writing which is okay to me since I don't expect such high standards from an MMO. But when I entered Nar Shaddaa for the first time, heard the classic KOTOR 2 music playing and fading into this amazing ambience... I realized that I started to love this game and wronged it for never even trying it out. It's a different experience than the singleplayer games but that's fine. I love exploring the galaxy with a friend and am so glad that they kept the mysterious and deep atmosphere of their predecessors because that's the Star Wars I fell in love with. I especially like to come back to this specific track because I think the atmosphere with the calming and yet mysterious music that plays in the dephts between the skyscrapers of Nar Shaddaa makes this really unique and even nice to meditate to.

Thank you for your nice comment. Yes, the Kotor games are legendary in terms of story, companions and music. Of course also Swtor. But I still hope for a third part in the single player area. And yes, the depth of atmosphere in the games is really good^^
You can't like kotor if you didn't test SWTOR when it came to be free

They could have easily said that city world we saw in Kenobi was Nar Shadaa but nooo it isn't. Missed opportunity.

Safe to say that SWTOR is as precious as KOTOR at this point. KOTOR & KOTOR II had better writing as a whole since SWTOR is an MMO and there's 8 classes to choose from. I prefer SWTOR tbh because the combat is more modern and the graphics are way better, especially at refresh rates of 240hz 360hz. Voice acting is on par with the classics. My favorite class is the Sith Inquisitor (Sorcerer), and Nar Shaaddaa is a great planet and reminds me of New York more than Coruscant does (Taris was like this pre-Darth Malak). Great place to have a great time lol. The soundtrack of the game is just spectacular

@@pherithosgamingambiente Of course mate. I'm also super excited for the KOTOR remake! I'm happy that the voice acting will be the same since Bastila Shan in the trailer is Jennifer Hale. I think it will be the same story as the original, but with a bit more and maybe an online battles thing like COD to play with friends, and all in modern 4k graphics. All hail Darth Revan!
