Wow! I like the set up at each of the stations unlike CVS Pharmacy everything is very disorganized and customers are very rude. They leave confidential information behind on the counter for you to throw away for them just because they don't want to wait to get home to do it themselves. Also, they get mad for waiting in the long line when the patients before them decided to give you a hard time by taking their time during checkout. They say the medications are too expensive, they don't want it then, decide towards the end that they do need it. I went to school to become a pharmacy technician and didn't learn anything about medicine from working at CVS Pharmacy.
That robot counter is cool. I’m sure that speeds things up a bit. But all I was wondering is what actually happens to the RX paper after you process it. I noticed they have numbers on them. I picture it acting like writing a check. I work in a hospital and ran out of Rx paper and I just wanted to have the Pharmacist relabel my patients albuterol inhaler for home use so we wouldn’t have to throw it away. I wanted to print it on regular paper and he said I needed it on prescription paper. So I had to go to another floor to print the prescription.
More tech than the standard hand counting pharmacy. We can count cash/bills and change relatively inexpensively; far more labor goes into pill counting.
In germany it's so much easier. We only deliver pre-packed medicines. Splitting isn't allowed since we have regulations on rx-prices. It is mandatory to fill the brand the insurance prefers. Usually a prescription w/ 1 position takes a minute to fill.
How are your insurance reimbursements in Germany? We lose money on prescriptions or get extremely low reimbursements here in America at an independent pharmacy
In the UK we could have ICON for extra checks, no UK pharmacy has one, and clear plastic bags,as they often get the wrong medication on pick up, and its too late when they get home and realise this. Can you bypass ICON if its a single item or patient in a hurry?
Why does the pharmacist not do the clinical check at the start of the process and endorse meds to be dispensed instead of at the end ? If they find an interaction at the end then they need to cancel the previous steps ? ☘️🇮🇪☘️
When I write a prescription the printed label states PBR before my name and not my professional degree. Why is that? How could I correct it? Who I need to contact for correction? Thanks
my son is all over the prescriptions that have side effects when we lived a life without the original nwo in the wwf attitude era then he prefers children's sunblock since wwe themselves are geared towards them cause of global supercard wrestling on espn classic that still lives on at&t uverse
I myself will only get 1 prescription each time I want one. This is stupid. People can take overdoses. I wouldn’t. What a clown who ever thought of this. I don’t want medications living in my house.
That robot thing is sooo cool!

after processing, it gets filed away. if dea walk in and ask for controlled prescriptions, we need to be able to locate them
you see how organize they are! plus have a technician for different section

So do you guys have your Vyvanse and some of the pain pills that's been on backorder for the last 2 months
All pharmacy shops should try to eliminate the hassle customers endure and those that accomplish this will prosper!
