That particular scene speaks volumes on how hearts are trapped inside bodies whose unions are considered taboo to the society. It'll get easier in the coming time. Love will win.

I really love the concept of their family and small nudges and problems they have which are dealt in a very comedic way I wud love to see an episode about the traditional in laws expecting early children from modern couples and it wud fit really well in this series where their mom and dad expecting a child from them and they just acting completely innocent or the parents acting weirdly to give a push to them for having kids
This series represents the conflict between the traditional and modern india. How values are balanced. How acceptance is made both side. Generational value overlaps. I am glad that TVF handled this sensitive topic so well in the finale. I think we expect the best in Indian contemporary entertainment from TVF and it has delivered yet again. This series was lying in my watchlist for many months and I just binge-watched the whole season in two days (after office hours on week days). I am glad I watched it. Each out of the 5 main characters is so relatable, so cute and charming and every story is so clean and so funny, sweet and sometimes full of emotional moments. I hope TVF soon brings out a season 2 of Very Parivarik, maintaining the quality. Please TVF, don't go overboard by hiring bigger more popular actors by compromising on the quality of story. Watch the episode first before reading further. The depiction of homosexuality/gay-pride, is one of the most mistreated topics in Indian cinema (and to a large extent even in the world cinema). Generally cinema goes overboard and makes it all about sexuality, lust and selling homosexuality as if to say anyone who even feels awkward at the idea of homosexuality is a villain. While the truth is that this is a new idea that the world is slowly and slowly opening up to and will take its time. It's okay if you don't understand it right now, as long as you are open to learn about and at least don't hate LGBTQ+ community. TVF took it in a light vein, and gently ended it with a good message that not every gay is a predator, at the same time, uncle and Harry also aren't villains for openly declaring that they aren't gay. That it's actually the media that sensationalizes things and takes them to a wrong conclusion.
It's really hard to make LGBTQ episode without affecting anyone but you guys did fantastic job . No cliche , and fun moments and jokes without offending anyone is hard . Just one suggestion - It would have been more interesting to see how Anish make them understand about it and how her mom understand about that Pappu and Billu . Her reaction would have been fun . And I love how writers try to settle everyone with that person thanking uncle for coming to parade. Well done TVF . Good job 👏
