Bro, probably 95 percent of your viewers just want to play and sing just to have fun. If people criticize you for teaching this way it’s stupid because you’re helping people learn to play guitar and have some fun. I used to play until a car accident stole it all away. I’m back learning and I can feel the ability to play really good ready to bust out of me. I had to learn everything again. Started like a total beginner. No finger dexterity or anything. Thank you, Matt you have helped me more than you will ever know. Luv u brother❤
Great lesson as always. There's nothing wrong with using cowboy chords, especially if you're just learning! If you're reading this and you're learning guitar you need to remember to give yourself a break. It isn't always that easy but it will come with time, as long as you continue to enjoy yourself and play, and a lesson like this will help you with that!
You are the best. With your help and ultimate guitar I have been playing for over five years now. I have played every song that you played in this lesson. Thanks.
Thank you Matt. I bought a guitar two years ago and couldn't play anything. Thanks to your methods and buying your songbooks I am having a great time jamming. Just wanted to say you are appreciated so much. You made it fun and easy. God bless you 🙏 ❤
You da man Matt !! You have no idea how much you have helped me since the beginning of the year as I am going through a bad season in my personal life. Thanks brotha !!
Wow , what a great lesson . I have been playing chords like that for a while . I have mobility issues with my fingers and hand and love just jamming away leaving my pinky and ring finger locked in .
Hugely helpful to have you explain your rationale on these chords...am struggling to learn Amy Ray's beautiful haunting song called Muscadine ...song has many changes from Em to C...the C add 9 is fine...a little different than standard C...but fine....also from F to C and F to G and then the real killer for me D to F#M I can play barres with serious practice. ...any suggestions much appreciated or direct me to a video. Am also working on Travis picking. Don Ross a genius and Scott Larsen on John Prine picking styles so helpful. Thank you so much for this pro bono work. You're a good boy son to do this. I am an old woman now-74..been trying to play this danged Classical guitar for 55 years. Just got a Cordoba C5 and gonna get a Martin Dread Jr.
Being left handed and trying learn guitar right handed I have learned SO MUCH from watching your video's and I thank you for that. I was wondering can you play taps on the guitar just using 4 chords? God bless you for helping so many people learn guitar like me :)
How about Living by Dierks Bentley? It's kind of timely after COVID.. Time everybody remembers what Living is all about!! Keep it up brother!! Just searched... Sorry! And I appreciate it!!!!
Great video man. I was wondering. Is there a place where you say where to put what finger on what string and fret for your modified G C E minor and D? I'm a blind guitar player. God bless you brother
Sooooo give this a thought. Requests for I loved her first has to be the most asked question...SMH You can do a little Elvis Pelvis as well and it would be GREEEEAT YEAAAHH..
@@CountrySongTeacher I’ve heard & am aware of exactly 1 of his songs. lol! I listened to his other songs on iTunes & I wouldn’t give 2¢ for any of them lol
