Beautiful and very helpful tutorial. Thank you so much. Do you have to wait at all for the white mixture for the waves to thicken or reach a certain temperature in order to do the lacing?
Thank you for posting this tutorial. I am also new to resin made a few earrings but want to do something different. This scares me also but I love the beach and these are so beautiful!!!
Very very cool indeed, your such a great teacher, very clear & easy to follow. I’m sooooo glad your video popped up on my stream, cause I really enjoyed this video. Ps, I just subscribed & look forward to watching more of your videos
Wow these are absolutely beautiful!! Im just starting out playing with resin and this is what i want to make, which brought me to your video lol. Complete newbie here 1st craft im trying, any tips you can give me. Thanks!!
So I made some coasters a while back, and unfortunately I think I used too much blowtorch to pop the bubbles, and they stuck to the molds 😢 How do you manage to keep the bubbles out of yours? And any tips on how I can do that?? Thanks
These turned out beautifully! Thank you for explaining this so well. Question: Is the resin you’re using here low or high viscosity? I know that the low viscosity resin takes a while to set up, but people use it because it greatly minimizes the bubbles. Anyway, you are a great artist!
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch. Since this video was made I have switched resin, and am now using Magic Resin. The previous resin I was using in this video gave me skin rashes unfortunately. The one I am currently using has very minimal bubbles and I have had no issues with it. I have it linked in my product list for you under coasters if you would like to research it.
Hi there, what kind of alcohol are you using? I just loooooove your coasters, I live 20-25 min from the beach and now I can make some too. Beautiful tutorial. 😁😊😜Thanks :)
Could you please help me figure out what I am doing wrong? I am having a problem keeping the "water" off of the sand. I put clear down where I want the water to be, not on the sand, and it still bleeds over. Is there a trick? Thanks for any help!
TIP: if you leave the cup of resin to the side and only use a little at a time, the resin will harden or get tacky rather quickly. The reason is that there’s a chemical reaction that causes the epoxy to create heat when curing. Likewise, when you leave a larger(r) amount in a cup, it will become very hot (even making the cup it’s in hot to the touch) and become tacky or even harden at a very fat rate, this is why she is experiencing resin “racking up” as she’s working. If you’re making something for a large project like this that requires you to complete different steps that add time to your creation, make resin as you go, ever couple of steps at a time. I’ve had my resin half way harden with the rest tacky within 10 minutes before, so I have had to set it to the side to let it finish it’s thing for the day and cool down so it didn’t melt my trash hag. I’ve heard of some people with really large amounts experiencing smoking or even catching fire. Resin/epoxy is expensive and is a chemical. Be safe and take your time. Edited for typo.
I see you know a lot about resin. I have a question. Please let me know how I can use resin. I first time ever try do something like this video show ocean in shall. I have resin A and B Please explain to me what and how to use resin. Thanks 🙏 Greetings from Florida
I am not 100% certain. I make these in bulk now. You can put water in a mold then put the water in a measuring cup to get a good idea of how much resin it will take

Do you add the epoxy resin and the export resin hardener to the pain before you spread it?
So I made some coasters a while back, and unfortunately I think I used too much blowtorch to pop the bubbles, and they stuck to the molds 😢
How do you manage to keep the bubbles out of yours? And any tips on how I can do that?? Thanks

I know this is from a year ago, but if you let the colors set for 5mins,would it help with more of a controlled pour???
what did you mix again for your waves? Your voice would go up and down and fade out while talking and I missed that part
Sorry do you add both epoxy and epoxy hardener together?
When cleaning do you use the sticky side of tape or other side?
Just Beautiful
Many many thanks

Hi! These are beautiful. I am new to the Resin World and am wondering what type of alcohol you used at the end to get rid of any little bubbles?
It’s your typical rubbing alcohol. But the higher the % the better. I’m using 99%
Could you please help me figure out what I am doing wrong? I am having a problem keeping the "water" off of the sand. I put clear down where I want the water to be, not on the sand, and it still bleeds over. Is there a trick? Thanks for any help!

Could you use white paint for the white like you did with the blue at the beginning?
Yes but you only need a little and make sure to mix it with resin
