Wow that was the fastest most information dense one of these tutorials I've seen. Thanks
More than 1600 hours in game and only now I know how to use assemblers properly! :-)
I made the mistake of putting ALL assemblers in coop mode instead of all of em coop and one master....still learning new things in this game 5 years later
OOOOH!! THAT'S WHAT THAT BUTTON DOES! All this time I thought it was just some multplayer thing or something.
When RUclips asks me about this video I will say it was lifechanging.
This one came out a bit quieter than the others. Also make a playlist for these clips!
Nice to see the tutorials being updated
The problem with this is that cooperative mode is shared between all assemblers on the grid. You cannot tell an assembler to 'cooperate only with assembler A2'. There are plenty of situations where this is highly annoying.
Also, this.
As someone who wasn't sure how the cooperative mode worked on assemblers, ehh...still good to know. Can keep the slaved co-op assemblers, as terrible as it sounds, somewhere hidden and safe while exposing only the masters in maintenance bays where engineers can call for parts from them.
@@TustlePlays _All_ assemblers can be anywhere in the conveyor network of the same grid. There is no restriction on which can be masters and which can be cooperative.
@@TustlePlays why is that terrible as it sounds? It was around and used LONG before what you're thinking.
Holy Klang I had no idea
Thanks.
I did not know that.
1200 hours and just now hearing about this.. I mean come on . 😆🙃
11/10
I used to do this, but I've gotten to where I'll manually Q up however many items I want in each assembler. This way, I can have 10,000 steel plates cooking in one, while having 100 super conductors cooking as fast as my refineries feed them without having one interrupt the other.
all depends on your needs I guess
With the automations update you can make a control room with the AI blocks that monitor your item storage to keep a certain level of each in storage at all times so as they are used they used up they refill. You can automate most things now. It is pretty sweet.
The feature has always been broken, when you add to production que with the shortcut it randomly chooses an assembler that's usually not the master. And there is no way to select the master and add from planner manually. Useless
When u go to Production Below Blueprints. u can choose which on to start with. and if u choose ur master all other assemblers will help out. Yes u can choose which ine it uses ;)
Honestly I didn't know you could do that.
😮😮😮😮
How do I fix it when the master doesn't share the quee with the slaves?
I'm fucking tired of building systems just for them to break 5 minutes later.
It took a while to make this video
Туториал, как просадить сим.спид
But of course, just because you CANCEL a job in the master assembler doesn't mean that the jobs already distributed to the cooperative ones are canceled, too. I mean, that would only be practical and therefore absurd to expect from Space Engineers.
Go design a sandbox game then.
@@MiamiPapi Ah, yes, good old "I need to be a Michelin star chef to be considered capable and permitted to tell when the soup has too much salt" deflection. Classic.
You could write a small script to clear all assembler queues
@@IceColdStaz Correction. You _have to_ write a small script to do that.
@@Anvilshock you mean it woudld be nice if it was just built into the game? Rather than being forced to write a script?
I personally love situations knowing the game that force me to do a bit of thinking to resolve a problem. Makes me feel like an engineer for once.
However not everyone can code so I see where you're coming from. Would be nice if the game has realism/difficulty settings for such things
OK XOC
Wait what. I think this demands at least 120 s of elaboration.
...videos...
TLDW too long didnt watch so idk what it was meant to teach us
If you make a game and want to charge $99 then maybe put out better tutorials and/or make less complicated so it is fun.
The only way I am able to figure out things is by other people and channels. And no thanks to you people or the wikis.
But thanks for the 20 seconds of effort, shows how much you care. Glad I only put $25 into this.
And that I also got NMS and Astroneers. lol. They actually want people to enjoy them.
