One thing mentioned, but not explained is the term "OSP". This refers to OutSide Plant, that is the cables that are hung from poles or buried. Cables used within an office are referred to as InSide Plant (ISP)

is it me, or did i hear the narrator say dammage from s**t rocks at 9:05 in the video, the video editing software thought it said shit and muted it out but he really said huge rocks, i died laughing in that point in the video XD

The optical fiber cables are tested from end to end using an OTDR (optical time domain reflectometer) and the test reports are placed on the reel before shipping. Thanks for watching!

Elysium custom made most of the time. Some standard things like extruders, payoffs and take ups can be integrated with custom controls for the product.
