"Woman Don't You Know" - A fun example of early, primitive Christian metal, as promised. I know people don't think this is metal when they hear it today, but in 1977 it was. Look back at a lot of successful bands of the '80s, like Journey, Huey Lewis and the News, and Petra, and this is what they were playing in the 70s, before they found the formula for commercial success. It was considered metal at the time.
Living Sacrifice album Conceived In Fire it was the fist Christian metal music I ever heard and Living Sacrifice has been my favourite band ever since I heard that album my favourite song on the album is symbiotic
I love Living Sacrifice too. I did not really like their real early stuff. Too much Doom Metal for me, but their later albums were fantastic. They are still touring so I hope they will come out with a new album sometime soon. George.
@@Metal777 That song was written in reaction to all the critics within Christian circles who didn't think metal music could be used to bring people to the Lord.
Hey man, have a great learning and growing experience at college. Study hard. Hopefully the college will have some extra-curricular activities you can get involved in, as well.
I was in a Christian metal band in Tucson. We opened up for No Innocent Victim and Overcome in 1997. Was a great show! Still haven’t seen a reaction to them though mention quite a few times :) Check out “When Beauty Dies” by Overcome. Jason has very awesome vocals.
You should check out some more of Living Sacrifices’ death metal stuff. They released 2 dm albums (Nonexistent and Inhabit). The song you reacted to (In The Shadow) is from the Inhabit album. Great stream btw.
My apologies Metal777 I missed your last live stream of the summer 😔. Going over your video now and I have to say I subbed to a lot of new bands I haven't heard from before. When you get a chance or perhaps when you go live again I have some new bands for you to check out. 1. "Band Final Surrender" Song is called Frogs in the pan. 2. "One man band called Heliocentric" Song is called Gabriel or Whispers between those two songs. 3. "Band is called my heart to fear" Song is called dust to dust. 4. "Band is called Fallstar" Song is called Eternal engine (Die Up) I highly recommend this OG band!!! 5. "Band is called Yashira" Song is called Shards of Heaven. 6. This last band is called "Ben S Dixon" Song is called White Washed. Im praying for you brother in your studies at college and wishing you all the best in JESUS MIGHTY NAME. Enjoy the music and METAL ON 🙏🤟🤘 🎸🥁🎤.
Hey! So sorry for the late reply. I appreciate all the requests btw! That Fallstar song you mentioned is fantastic, their new album is seriously underrated. I haven't heard a lot of those other bands though.
@@Metal777 No worries brother I have been going through some tough trials and tribulations. I was just in a bicycle accident on 08/16/23 Some guy hit me while I was crossing in the intersection by where I live, thank GOD it was nothing to serious but I still was banged up real bad, lower spine injury. Please when you have time if you can pray for healing for my injury's. Thank you brother, yes Fallstar is a good band and I love their new album. 🙏🤙👍💪🫂 May the LORD watch over you and keep you brother.
So the Crucified is not thrash metal, they are what is called "crossover", which is a cross between punk rock and thrash. THe vocals here are punk style vocals not metal. The Crucified are EXCELLENT in this genre.
