i have to get this done for upper and lower during two seperate appointments. Im afraid right to ask my dentist if i need to be put asleep for this (only due to it costing so much). Is this done generally with local numbing or the patient need to be put to sleep? Thanks
i was curious why dont you open your flaps a bit larger 360/ all around(i.e the lingual in ur case)? i had a case that i placed the healing abutment and there was some tissue impingement which led the facial swelling

What about mobile prosthesis during healing of implant or after uncovering it...wats your experience?J hate mobile proshesis over implants when is'nt possible immediate load
I guess this is what the periodontist will be doing in 3 months. I just had a bone graft and 2 implants on 19 & 21!! One of those painful procedures since my wisdom teeth!! When implants are uncovered, how long after can the crown/bridge be placed on?

just had mine done yesterday---no need to go to sleep, the numbing was perfect AND I wasn't in pain later in the day.
Why did I search this? Now I’m terrified. I’m terrified of lidocaine shots. 😢

Oh no.. you mean i gotta go theough that stitching again.. more pain from injections.., 😢 fed up with dentists hurting me

I had my implant submerged because I had a bone graft done at the same time as the implant. The uncovery sucked after everything I had to go through
How was the healing process of the uncovering vs doing the bone grafts?
I had five implants in two months ago. I’m now pregnant... can I proceed with the rest of treatment or should I wait a whole 9 months? Lol

How do you select the size of healing abutment? Any suggestions?
you measure the biotype with a perio probe and you add 2 mm to keep the healing abutment above the gum
