Didn't change the outcome, but the rules at the beginning were $500 max so Jacob should have had either $100 or $150 less since the $600 lays should have been $500. I don't remember if he hit 2 or 3 of those.
Congratulations Jacob, unlucky Marc laying the 4&10 is a dangerous game but its very difficult to deal with when your apponant gets a string of 7's.

I need more insight on jacobs strat. He did win the championship afterall and it goes with advice ive gotten from grey beard dealers before that the come line isnt the best way to play craps because of the 10/36 chances of 6/8
He made a couple lay bets that paid off when the seven rolls. That was key to his win here.
I played pass, don't pass. lost 10 in a row. Did pass, pass, pass, don't pass, don't pass, pass, pass, don't pass don't pass, don't pass. Played 6/8 too. Lost fill bankroll.
Look out for smart luck too. Both can get you.

lay bets win with the but big risk reward strategy.......interesting
Jacob took down his Lay: should have returned the $15 vigorish.
Jacob could Lay $600 because he would only win $300. Max table bets on Lays are on winnings.
He won the lay bet when he took down, so no vig would be returned. He would have had to pay vig again to keep it up.

The way the rules read a lay cannot win more than table max. Thus a $1k lay 4/10 is a legitimate bet in the tournament.
