- Just before Natlan releases, we are finally turning our attention towards Furina and trying to build her. Of course, as a character who wants quite a lot of different stats, it will not be easy to get artifacts that give us enough of everything. But after a month of farming... we still didn't get the best pieces. But she's at least better than she was!
Swords Only in Genshin Impact can be quite challenging at times. However, as the self-proclaimed master of "Weapon" Only challenges in this game, I am able to best any obstacle (probably).
HoYoVerse put out a tweet saying "Polearm Impact"... So I decided to take it upon myself to make a new account, but only use characters who wield a sword because absolutely nobody asked me to.

Just a little reminder: Furina drains the HP of all party members, therefore any character can use Marechauseé with Furina

Heres the lovely thing about farming Golden for Furina and getting good Hunters pieces, They can be really good for DPS characters due to Furina herself and what her kit enables. She is a enabler of the set for characters that don't have HP manipulation in their main kit and due to how strong furina is(in terms of buffing characters) this set(Hunters) could be stronger due to the huge Crit Rate increase and the Normal+Charge attack is more of a bonus. So yeah those pieces are still usable! but for a character that I could name in Swords only that could use it.... eh not sure atm
Navia plunge with furina and xianyun is so fun.. but yeah i cant think of any sword dps characters that would prefer maracheusse over another set. Ayaka could use it but blizzard is better
Ayato is basically a lesser version of Neuvillette, meaning Marechausse is perfect for him.
Alhaitham can use it pretty well
You don't need to build a lot of crit rate which frees you up to stack other offensive stats. It ordinarily may not be BiS for any on-field main dps sword characters, but once you introduce Furina+healer, it becomes very strong, especially for sword users who use normal attacks or charged attacks a lot eg Ayato who ascends with crit damage and and can take advantage of both the 2 piece and 4 piece bonus in that squad as the bulk of his damage comes from normal attacks under his skill effects. He's the best choice on swords only.

2:11 her c2 lowers the value of hp% goblets as it gives her a massive chunk of hp%, her c1 is where the hp goblet is most valuable over hydro

Golden troupe and husk are about on par with eachother for albedo and chiori, just go with whatever has better stats
Also use kaeya with ayake they will battery eachother
you can use marechaussee on any character if you run them with furina!! so if you’ve got a character who you don’t have the right set for you can slap marechaussee on them, run them with furina, and boom damage
This is what i did with Diluc! he was c4 and i felt bad about not doing anything with him. i run him with Furina, Xianyun and mostly Bennett and plunge attack like my life depends on it LOL

I have 70% crit rate on Furina.
As many people said, Furina makes Marechaussee work on everyone. Lynette can also use it on her own thanks to her skill healing her and then consuming part of her HP over time !
Regarding the fishing weapon / signature weapon for Furina : signa weapon is only good if you have constellations OR godly artifacts OR a team that can make up for the energy she doesn't get. The HP provided is lower than a HP% piece, and an ER% sands is lower than a ER% weapon. Without constellations to make up for it, Splendor is just a crit damage statstick making it harder to build a decent support Furina (either harder burst uptime or not 40k HP to max damage bonus, BUT more personal damage). Fleuve Cendre provides 77.9% ER and 16% crit rate (at R5). Along Furina's own crit rate ascension, it virtually puts her at 35.2 Crit rate and 177.9 ER with no artifacts ! Allows for HP/HP/CD while maintaining healthy ER% and crit rate.
Favonius, particularly at low refinments, needs high crit rate or more onfield time to ensure particle generation, which either makes it an ER stat stick, or forces crit rate circlet along crit rate substats to proc the passive reliably. While it's good, it's less good on Furina than on other characters that spend more time on field to proc the passive (like Kirara who does burst + double skill hit to stack her shield or Xingqiu who has two hits on his skill)
About Husk/GT : similar results with similar stats. Husk gives at max 54% def and 24% damage (+46.6 if geo cup), while GT gives 70% damage (+58.3 def if def goblet). If you have def/geo/crit on husk, overall damage is better since it also boosts geo damage for the burst (which scales atk). But blossom damage will be higher with Golden Troupe def/def/crit assuming other substats are similar.
For team comps : freeze Ayaka - Layla - Furina - Jean is amazing. Allows Xingqiu to be elsewhere (either with Ayato, Alhaitham or Nilou), and would give a lot more damage% to Ayaka, pairing well with Layla's attack bonus if she's on millelith !
Depending on how many Fav swords there are on the account, Jean would benefit from getting Furina's and grinding for Fleuve Cendre... Once fully built, VV atk/atk/crit Jean heals well enough to max fanfare, as well as proc Fav reliably.
Technically, as long as you can swirl the element, Furina - Jean is an amazing duo and could work with everyone. Bennett Kaeya is a good option, and virtually makes a pyro DPS for the account. Since Kaeya also self-heals (through skill) he can also keep up more with Furina's drain mechanic ! Best would be to put him on atk/atk/crit + iron sting or EM/atk/crit + Lion's roar most likely (no elemental since Furina provides, and atk will scale for both cryo and pyro damage Kaeya does)

No it's not. It will bring Deepwood and Gilded dreams. Every .0 version brings in the first artifact set from the region previous to the one we last visited so it will bring in the first artifact sets from Sumeru since we visited it before Fontaine. When Shneznaya comes out we'll get Marachausse and Golden Troupe.

you could use her in an alhaitham team! alhaitham kuki jean and furina. furina's slow hydro means you can keep up some spread for alhaitham while also triggering hyperblooms with kuki.

the pipe is fr so good if you don't have festering desire (like me) but the time it takes to get the refinements is Y I K E S especially for content creators
It only takes 3 days while the catch takes a week on average
The way Java talks is very similiar to how i think/talk to myself in my mind most of the time, which i enjoy doing very much. That might be the reason why i really love his monologes. Listening to him is like listening to myself.
16:40 I wouldn't recommend building Jean with a healing bonus circlet since she already has healing bonus as her ascension stat, and Furina also gives some healing bonus through her burst. Building Jean as just a healer is overkill, noone needs that much healing. She usually heals enough even on a dps build, especially with Furina - the important thing is not healing bonus, but ER. As long as Jean has enough ER to burst off cooldown (or close to it), you will get more than enough healing and won't ever need a HB circlet.
And I would never recommend crit build on Jean. It's not like she is gonna deal any damage. You don't need 30k dmg coming from skill and burst once every 15 secs. Either go for em and swirl or go for healing bonus cuz no her healing is usually not enough to full. I have her burst at 9. She is using er atk healing. Yet she is being barely enough cuz she needs to heal 20k hp on my team.
@@zeynepdemirel8365 I've been playing Jean for 4 years in a bunch of different teams, and from my experience, there is almost no team where you'd need an actual healing build on her (even if she doesn't heal to full, which usually is only the case for HP-scaling characters, she still heals more than enough to keep the team alive). And if built with anemo dmg bonus and crit, her damage isn't negligible. It isn't the highest of course, she won't outdamage any meta dps, but I'd still rather have 30k+ bursts than a little bit more healing that will make absolutely no difference.
And EM should only be built on her if you're using a sunfire team, because outside of sunfire she doesn't swirl much, so it's better to go for personal damage.

@@zeynepdemirel8365 Wait, you're using Furina with her? Then it makes even less sense to use HB circlet since like I already said in my original comment Furina gives HB anyway. My Jean always heals to full in Furina teams, with the exception of some HP-scaling characters like Nilou. And even if it's not full healing immediately, you are still gonna get a ton of fanfare stacks, the rest won't take long between Jean's continued healing and Furina's drain. I've never had any issue getting full fanfare with my dps Jean, on the contrary, it's really easy to max out fanfare with her, no HB circlet needed.
Most characters don't have more than 20k HP anyway, as long as they don't scale off HP, and Furina only drains to 50%, so you won't need more than 10k healing in 90% of cases, except if you get hit all the time and actually have only like 1k HP left on every single character before using Jean's burst, but let's be real, that's very unlikely.
the fishing sword is definitely better than favonius unless you care more about the team's energy than her own energy and damage, not only does it have more ER in the substat, the passive at r5 (which is easy to get, and yes it's way easier than the catch) gives her skill 16% crit rate and 36% ER for 5 seconds after using the skill
honestly this is probably Kaeya main bias, but I can confirm that Sunfire Jean with C6 Benny can work with melt Kaeya! the only problem would be that Kaeya is also a slow cryo applicator for melt (which is why he's primarily run with another cryo like Rosaria), and Furina would like take away his cryo app before he could proc melt. honestly a stupidly funny team would be vape Kaeya with C6 Bennett instead, and if you run him with EM, any melts he triggers could still do some good dmg as well. if you do a vape Kaeya, Marachusse would be great with him since Furina and Jean have the HP manipulation covered, and most of his pyro app will be NA's, but Emblem is always a good set to run on him regardless of the team comp. can't wait for the video where he's next on the roster :)

Regarding Kaeya team:
Yes pls, meltya is so fun + Kaeya has pretty high normal multipliers
You can go with atk/em or atk or pyro or cryo/crit dmg
On crimson witch for extra melt dmg
Or on Marechausse since Furina's in the team
In which case if you have his C1 you just have like 51% free crit rate on his normals (or you know, just regular 36 crit rate from marechausse)

for a team comp, you could try ayato, furina, jean and another subdps (kaeya, xingqiu, chiori, albedo)
c2 jean can help boost ayato's attack speed so it could be good
Something that’s good is that in the developers discussion they’re adding golden troupe and other artifacts to the strongboxes

Clorinde, Furina, Xingqiu and Jean can actually work and can be a good team😍So do that. And give Furina the BEST just like she deserves. Also give the DPS character in your team that involves Furina Marechaussee Hunter since she literally drains HP and Jean brings it back up.🥰That's why I love farming this domain. It's a win-win.
About the set for Albedo, it's actually pretty nice for a pure sub dps. Not sure if worth to farm when you already have a full set on him, but since Fontaine's domain is more resin efficient then you might actually upgrade him by accident, it comes down to the stats

Not sure if youll realize this later in the video but the pipe weapon boosts her skill critrate and her skill is all she really needs critrate for since shes not a physical dps and her burst doesnt deal damage xD
Marechausse can be used on anyone on field with a team of furina. Put it on alhaitham if you want if he doesn't have anything better.
As for teams, you have the makings of a really good quickbloom team with ALHAITHAM, FURINA, KUKI, DMC (or kirara or jean), and mono hydro with AYATO, XINGQIU, FURINA, JEAN (esp now that you have c2 jean). Or a good clorinde team with CLORINDE, FURINA, DMC, KUKI. btw you can also run a good ayaka team with furina, just ditch layla for kaeya. So AYAKA, FURINA, KAEYA, JEAN.
The possibles exist, and you can make good electrocharged teams too, but you just need to remove the shackles of the mind and try new things such as layla is not the only cryo battery for ayaka.

Java, MH is actually incredible on Alhaitham in Furina comps. So if you run her with him you can just use MH. But MH just enables MH on any unit you want. Also Kuki heals enough for that comp because of her heals + Furinas healing bonus buff. So you would run Alhaitham, Furina, Kuki, Dendro mc/kirara

I think your best furina team is
Bennett: on field, he doesn't need as much er cause he spam e, so you can give him marechausse hunter
Jean: healer, elemental mastery, to swirl pyro off of bennett ult.
Xingqiu: more hydro, resonance, and hydro shred
Team is really strong and capitalize on the best reaction for furina, since her buff doesn't interact well with fixed numbers reactions (dendro/electro/cryo + hydro) and is very good with vaporize
the lengths a man will go thorugh to not fish. the pipe fixes all CR problems and has a decent amount of ER. i got it R5 in 2 days with 20 mins of work.

Java, give Ayaka back her mistsplitter. One of Clorinde's best weapons is the Fontaine craftable sword.
Also, as part of your daily routine for your many accounts, go to the underwater alcove you can destroy a boulder from blocking. It's NE of Fontaine City, (the northern of the two underwater teleports in that trench right there). It's like 6 crystal flies a day with swimming to avoid them flying away. Plus the 3 by the book domain.

I was building my Furina and I ended up giving up on the artifacts after a week of constant trying and only got 2 good artifacts😭

From my experience almost everything works with Jean and Furina. You can basically put whoever you want with these two and the result is always copious amounts of damage (as long as both Furina and Jean are built properly of course, by which I mean built with enough ER to burst constantly).

Alhaitham can actually work with Furina. Alhaitham/Furina/Kuki/Jean would be a pretty good team as long as someone (like Kuki) is holding deepwood. In this team, you can also put Maréchaussée on Alhaitham since Furina drains hp

i've been maining furina since 4.2, got C1 & signature in 4.7 and it took me AGES to get 4PC golden troupe. my recommendation is to try get at least 2PC, and then have 2PC HP or any artifacts just for the substats until you get good enough artifacts for a 4PC!

From what I understand with the Albedo question. Golden Troupe is better for him if you have the Cinnabar Spindle. If you have Festering Desire on him, its best to use Husk of Opulent Dreams. As your account has neither of those weapons, probably best to just go with Husk.
As Stalnaya said, any DPS can use Hunter. Really good for ayaka when freeze doesn't work

With Furina you can literally put that second set on any DPS and it will work, especially if they normal or changed attacks, 36% crit rate is no joke

If you have cinnabar spindle you can use golden troupe if you don't then use husk set so in your case you can use golden troupe.
from what i know, with decent substats, golden troupe can outclass husk - it's more a question of which set has better pieces. but since you're months deep in golden troupe, a handful of good defense pieces should have albedo up and running!
