We travelled in the last week of Sept.
@@ChillRamblers Thank you 🙂
Hi..I'm travelling to Bali from Bombay via Kuala Lumpur through Batik Air. Though I had choosen a single booking from BOM to DPS via KUL...but I have got different PNRs for both my flight. Though it says I wouldn't need to change terminal. Would I require any transit visa?
If your ticket says the carrier will transfer your luggage from first to second flight , then you dont need transit visa, otherwise transit visa is required
From where I get transit visa?
@@amitprasad9249 you can check malaysia govt website for visa process
Hi i am travelling to indonesia by air Asia with different pnr, with 4 hours layover at kl. So do i required transit visa for this trip, please advice
Your connecting flight is of Air Asia only? Are you changing the terminal? If you are changing the terminal and your connecting flight is of some other airline then you might have to go through immigration again.
For Indian passport holders it is only MDAC till 31 Dec 24. Visit their site for details. With AirAsia flights there is no change of terminal. Different PNR would need rechecking and immigration.
Mam…i hav a question …plz reply today itself
My flight is from may 2nd to bangkok with lay over at malaysia around 3 hours two flights are same air asia, same terminal only,2 pnr number…self transfer as i have to check in my luggage again…wats the scenario now ? Shud i need to fill MDAC or requires transit visa…indian passport holder
I wish you see it now, 1st! Yes. MDAC is must. You must do both outbound and inbound immigration & luggage to be collected and checked in again. This different PNR issue is confined to MMT or Goibibo only. If you book through AirAsia no need for MDAC as luggage transfer is airline’s responsibility. My flight is on 3rd and got all these checked directly with Malaysian immigration authorities. Visa is free and MDAC is applicable only till 31 Dec 2024 for Indians.
Only MDAC
Mam my flight is maleshiya airline to bali same airline same pnr but only terminal change so visa or immigration are compulsory
Hey you have to get visa as I have same situation only 2 hour and 40 minutes and change terminal
Was time enough to change terminal?
@@sakshilahoti9272 if you have at least 2 hours will be good because you need to change terminal and bus is slow no visa required just have mdec
I have a flight from Bangalore to Bali with a Malaysia layover (3h 10 min) from Air Aisa but with a different PNR, Do I need to take a transit VISA or MDAC for this? Please suggest.
Are you changing terminal as well? Also, are you flying with Air Asia only after the layover?
No, The connecting flight to Bali is from the same terminal (Kuala Lumpur Intl Terminal 2)@@ChillRamblers , Yes I am flying on Air Asia after the layover. Even though same airline I got a different PNR.
That's fine then, you don't need a transit visa. You only need one if you're switching terminals. But I still suggest double-checking with Air Asia, just to be sure.@@telugudunia5450
Sure,Thank you@@ChillRamblers
@@telugudunia5450 I'm in a similar situation where it's mentioned that self transfer would be needed (but i don't have check-in baggage). Please let me know if you concluded on this basis your discussion with the AirAsia team
