If this card read "When this card is Normal summoned or Special Summoned" it would have been insane. That being said, her second effect is even more insane imo because of the new Ishizu cards.
Absolutely! The immediate plus of a forbidden card is almost just the cherry on top. My favorite to summon is the barrier statue but as you said, the new Ishizu support are lvl 4 fairies as well! Would love to see a deck splash this in it!
Very true. I've used Witch w / Aurora Paragon in my Herald of Perfection deck and she comes in clutch in many ways. Its a good combo with herald because she can add Lance, which protects your herald from cards like Dark Ruler, Droplet, Imperm. She sort of combos with Ritual Sanctuary as she can tutor the extra spell I need. She is great bait for ash / imperm / veiler too. If I summon the Aurora, it turn skips a lot of the meta decks. Bring it out on Fusion destiny / Red-Eyes to burn their card. Use it when the opponent normals Invoker or uses their fusion cards (provided they don't have magical meltdown). On tri-brigade, summon it off their normal summon to end their turn. Vs sword soul, summon it to deny their token. This also potentially shuts down Drytron as well, but I've yet to go against it. Also since you have the search from Witch, your forbidden cards can protect the Aurora from being run over (use Lance on their monster), or you use droplet / chalice to neg whatever normal they use.
The amount of tech she provides is unreal! You are correct in saying how great she is in baiting out all the hand traps, and the off beat forbidden spells like Lance really are becoming better choices for decks with heavy monster negate already. Plus with the new Branded Fusion releasing soon, the Despia Jester summon is huge gains! I feel the best part of Witch is the Quick Effect and how insane it is to chain around stuff essentially "protecting" or simply "negating" their cards like red-eyes fusion/invocation- as you stated. I have not matched against Drytrons either but I assume with a Paragon Special, it should be a quick game 1!

Barrier Statue is actually INSANE.
This can miss timing tho so it's best to not activate witch as a response if summoning star seraphs
I rather play 2 condemned witch and a droplet on my darklord deck instead of 3 droplets. She's a dark fairy and deck thins a lot.
In love with it splashed in Eldlich or Runick to get the free search as well as a Barrier Statue to lock players into lights!
