- A direct descendant of Guru Baba Nanak’s disciple Bhai Sadharan, Bhai Baldeep Singh descends from a long lineage of GurSikh masters of the Gurbani Kirtan maryada, and today is its 13th generation exponent.
To commemorate 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, Bhai Baldeep Singh - a reviver of the nearly-extinct Gurbaṇi Sangita tradition who has also revived various assets from the kalami (written), tantri (audio-visual) and, zubani (memorised), will throw light on how Guru Nanak’s teachings offer comfort to restless hearts and the way his emphasis on enlightenment and spiritual growth captured the minds of poets over the ages.

I never heard this Sardar ji before today saw few videos and this jasne video touches to my heart. He showed to everyone one that true path is one which Guru Nanak NIRANKARI wrote in Guru Granth Sahib. Otherwise others leads us to quarrels and unrest.

He was teaching kirtan with only stringed instruments not using the European imported harmonium in sultanpur lodging but our great sgpc did not lend him any place for his students leave alone any financial help
Why he is beyond the scope of SGPC!!. They need to identify the Sikh scholars & philosophers like Bhai Baldeep Singh Ji for their parchar services. He is a rare personality.

it is clear Bhai Baldeep Singh ji is a modern-day bhagat of Guru Nanak Dev ji. Nowadays, most Sikhs only pride themselves on being Jatts. Some don't even follow the tenets of Sikhism, and still add Singh/ Kaur behind their name. Ki banu duniya da? Some have not even read one word of Guru granth Sahib ji..let alone sang bani the way it is actually supposed to be sung. Forgive me, but the state of today's Sikh is indeed pitiful from my perspective. I' ll take solace in the fact that people like Bhai Baldeep Singh ji exist.

Thou art the Lord, who hast graceful nose and long hair.
ਅਰਥ: ਨਕ ਸੁਨੱਖਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਲੰਮੇ ਕੇਸ।
ਕੰਚਨ ਕਾਇਆ ਸੁਇਨੇ ਕੀ ਢਾਲਾ ॥
Cast in gold, Thy body is precious.
ਅਰਥ: ਸਰੀਰ ਸੋਨੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਸੁੱਧ ਅਰੋਗ ਹੈ,
ਸੋਵੰਨ ਢਾਲਾ ਕ੍ਰਿਸਨ ਮਾਲਾ ਜਪਹੁ ਤੁਸੀ ਸਹੇਲੀਹੋ ॥
Cast in gold is His body, with a rosary like that of Krishna. Meditate thou on Him, O my mates.
ਅਰਥ: ਤੇ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਬਣੀ ਹੋਈ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ-ਮਾਲਾ ਕੋਲ ਹੈ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ) ਦਾ ਆਰਾਧਨ ਕਰੋ, ਹੇ ਮੇਰੀਓ ਸਖੀਓ!

You are very racist person to refer a faith to specific culture of people and call them species, which is usually referred to animals. It’s not your fault, actually your greedy pandits who are referred to as blind gurus of blind people who workship stones out of ignorance and do not understand the essences of Spiritual, formless nature of God.
Besides these Punjabi Sikh, there are also Hindi Sikhs, Pakistani Sikh, Afghani Sikhs, Irani Sikhi, European Sikhs, American Sikh, Latin Sikhs. Sikhi will continue to grow through out through world. So to make it clear to you that Punjabi Sikh are highly advanced in Sikhi, the most advance religion in the world to seek salvation, and teaching all other faiths of Hindustan such as Bhramin Mat, Yog Mat, Vashnu Mat, Jain Mat, Bodhi Mat. One day these Punjabi Sikhs will spread Sikhi through out the world, causing Sikhi to be one the largest religions in India and the world. You can fool yourself forever by saying that Sikhs are Hindu and part of snatan dharm, the fact is that being a Hindu is not a religious or spiritual identity, it’s was a national identity which is also slowly dying out. So to be a Sikh first read Gurbani and follow it, you can not expect to be a Sikh or identity with Sikh faith unless you follow the teachings of Gurus.
