Absolutely love your bubbly personality. Full of smiles and excitement over the littlest thing. I got hori joy cons for my birthday in July and love the comfort, but you can not use them like regular joy cons. No gyro controls which affect handheld mode with certain games, and you can't use them as controllers separately, the can only be used connected to your switch. These ones you got look cool, especially the lights, a appreciate stuff like that. Ashame you can't send messages on here with pictures. There's a cool dust dock thing with led lights that I think you'd be interested in on Amazon. Maybe I'll try to send the link to it here. Great video. Can't wait till the next one. 🥰
Miky, another imp advantage of the NYXI is that the joysticks have what they call a "hall effect" which means that they are much less prone to develop stick drift over time.

The owl design reminds me of the "XYZAL" allergy owl! I recently finally pulled the trigger on picking up a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller for using when the system is docked. And it's definitely a better controller than the joy cons, with a more comfortable hold! Looking forward to hearing your follow-up(s) on the NYXI Hyperion Pro!
I have a love/hate thing with joycons and the uncomfortableness is one of the reasons why, these seem like a neat option for sure YOUR STARDEW FARM AT THE END, HOLY ARCEUS IT'S AMAZING
Thanks for the heads up about these controllers. I have a similar controller setup because yes, original Switch controllers are flat and hurt after awhile. NYXI seems good and I like look of their Gamecube inspired controllers. I also have a Hori and that one doesn't have a battery to use separately. So instead I grabbed a Y adapter meant for joycons off of AE. Surprisingly it does a really good job and maybe something about the split but even joycons don't hurt as much when using that adapter. Nice to have a solid cross style dpad too. I also grabbed a Gripcon which is more of an all-in-one solution with HDMI out of the Switch directly rather than having to use a dock. Adds some bulk but it's really nice to have a simplified HDMI anywhere experience without having to worry about a dock. Only downside is it's missing that nice dpad found in other Switch accessories. Anyway, all these options are nice and they feel much better than original joycons.
@@mikyatto Its amazing! The open world is a bit jarring at first, that confusion that comes with open world/crafting games where you to learn the system first. But the trade off is already worth it, the feeling of a genuine adventure is memorable. I just left the plateau and headed towards kakariko village.
So I have the same ones, I love them so much, they are so comfortable and feel amazing to push the buttons. The joysticks are a bit bigger but not really a problem just something I had to get used too. I love the lights on it especially the A,B,Y,X buttons that light up is so pretty especially in the dark, I also love that I can make the lights breathe to different colors. My one and only big complaint is the Dpad is really stiff and not comfortable to use when playing retro games. Also great video I loved it and I also think your really really pretty 🙈😍
definitely a plus on the lights and comfort but theres no way that D-pad is going to out perform the original. hopefully the switch 2 does something like this but with the better D-pad and it would be perfect
I think I have heard of NYXI for their sick GameCube type joycons pretty cool! Also yeah the joycons really make my fingers hurt after a while but the flatness does feel like it fits the aesthetic. Honestly I mainly play my switch docked so I use the switch pro controller because it is just SO GOOD! I did try a third party Gengar remote with colors like those... Perfect when plugged in but lags hard when wireless 😭
This is why I strictly use the Pro controller, if I am going to use it handheld then I defer to the Satisfye grip for ergonomics. There is more distance for the handle. I try to go for ergonomics that best reflects an Xbox Series X Controller. Longer gaming sessions require a better controller especially for games like Splatoon 3.
One thing I learned about a lot of ergonomic controllers is that they only function when physically connected to the switch and so won't function wirelessly. The ones I've found to be the most comfortable are like this but I mostly use pro controller if not in handheld mode anyway although I don't know how Nintendo is ok with how bad the buttons feel to press on the pro controller. Will have to check these out.
Since I've gotten the CRKD Nitro Deck it's hard to go back to the default joycons. The NYXI grip looks super comfortable too I think I like the stick layout better even!

I just got that exact same controller last month... I really do like them, since they can be used wirelessly... I also use Hori split pad pro compact... Those work really nicely in handheld mode... I also got my daughters some very small pro controllers since they have small hands... And they work really good... I cannot remember the brand, but I can look it up for ya if you're looking for controllers for smaller hands...
Just so you know you don't have to charge the joycons individually you can charge them attached to your switch i have the green pair also you might want to get a pair of joycon grip covers because the analog sticks are a little slippery but that is personal preference everybody is different

I have the green ones to go with my ToTK switch but my main problem with them is finding caps for the sticks. I’m not sure why Nyxi made them bigger than most controllers.
I also have the Zelda Totk joycons. They look awesome, but I agree...they are very uncomfortable. So, I just use my DualSense(ps5 controller)when I play docked....It is so much better.
They seem impractical to use if you wanna play with them disconnected in each hand. That's how I like to use the joycons when I veg out on the couch. Otherwise, I use the pro controller.

I also have the same controller but yours must be a new edition because mine is black and there was no white option at that time when i bought mine. I also have the NYXI case. It's the only case that would fit that if you don't remove it from the Switch tablet.
I wonder if these ones are slightly better than the ones I have. The ones I have are fine, but even connected to the console they connect via bluetooth and the left one has issues staying on. If they're attached to the side I feel like they should just be on and not connect via bluetooth. Gonna have to look into the ones you're using.

The NYXI Hyperion Pro are great! My only gripe with them is the D-pad. But they are so much more comfortable than the Joy-cons.

Has your switch gotten scratched yet? I’m super careful with my Totk oled and was discouraged by reviews saying the deck scratches the switch.

Should have gotten moba 6 pad hd instead. They have everything as switch joycons but way more comfy.
