It sounds great from the midrange and micro-datails in music, but it sounds a little too bright for my liking. I'm surprised you are combining it with Klipsch speakers which are pretty bright speakers. I was able to incorporate a subwoofer and it has given me the bass that it was lacking!
@@manzanaresantonio I don't find it bright at all. It has been serviced. I needed efficient bookshelf speakers and these Klipsch have the highest db rating I could find in a bookshelf speaker. My Wharfedale Denton 80ths did not sound good with this Kenwood I can tell you that. They might have I would think if it was bright sounding but nope. This and I had to turn the volume WAY up with the Dentons.
@@allen-rp3gm If you notice the power output transfromers are very small, this as result makes the receiver lack the punch and bass that receivers made by Sansui, Fisher, Sherwood, Scott, Harman Kardon, etc have.
@@manzanaresantonio Supposedly the KW-60 is really more like 20wpc not 30. I spoke to a tech that worked on one a few years back. It's the only tube receiver I've ever owned. Paid $25 and put another $175 or so into it. Love the look of it that's the thing.
I have a KW-60 too. Wonderful receiver that looks awesome. I pair mine with Klipsch RB-81 II speakers.

@@manzanaresantonio Also too bad about the broken glass. Hope you find a replacement!
Man, where did you find those feet! Those are a perfect compliment for that piece (and I have one similar).
