    What i like this, its not just an unboxing, you are an expert electrician - hearing you say about the cable specs and rcd units is really good. I appreciate the environmental on use of plastics and paper. All in all, a great video. Thank you !

    Thank you so much for your video, its quite informative and i watched all the videos of your Spa maintenance and saving tips. While watching them i couldn't resist noticing the outdoor bar setup you have on the deck. Is it built by you as well??? I was planning to do the same next to my spa bath. I would absolutely love if you could make a video how to build one like that or share some tips. Thanks in advance.

    Great video on what to expect when opening the St Moritz spa tub. Now I realise that I need to purchase a box containing chemicals for clear water. Suppose the need for mat to put the spa bath on is covered in another video with instructions on how to inflate and set.

    Thank you for this! Are you gonna make another video setting this up? If not, can I ask if there is any extra hose/tube underneath/very bottom of the tub in order to drain the water? Thanks in advanced and have a great summer ahead! =)

      Turn the heater off but leave the circulation pump going with a good dose of tablets in the chemconnect

    I don’t think I missed it...but did this spa come with an insulation liner to put over your deck and under the spa...I know the older version did and other models do...but seems like they may have stopped including one? Thanks for posting this vid!

    • @AbouttheHouse0
      @AbouttheHouse0  2 года назад +1

      NO, these don't come with a ground mat. These are what you need: amzn.to/3xMeh7h
      If you're putting the tub on a raised deck, one layer should be sufficient, but if you're putting it directly onto the ground (eg a stone patio), then i would recommend 2 layers for the insulation (direct contact with the ground will just 'suck' heat out of the tub).
      How many you need will depend on which model you are getting.
      Bestway do a ground mat, but it's just a glorified version of these mats and rather expensive.

    Hi, how durable would you say this tub is?
    I’ve seen online that they might last a year or two MAx ?

    • @AbouttheHouse0
      @AbouttheHouse0  2 года назад +1

      I've seen it said two years as well. I think it's the sun that damages the PVC. I'm currently looking for a suitable cover, but finding one big enough is proving a challenge.

    Just ordered this model. Is it true it can cost up to £50 a month in electricity?

    • @AbouttheHouse0
      @AbouttheHouse0  2 года назад +1

      Literally just a few days ago I've bought a watt-hour meter to connect in to moniter running costs accurately (instead of guessing as so many people seem to). Looking at our household usage, it seems to be around £35 a month. Of course it is summer and that will go up in winter.
      I hope to be able to offer tips later in the year with some real results instead of guesswork.

    Hi I bought a Lazy Spa and the top had a puncture in it had to reinstate 3 times I'm a week
    BESTWAY told me to do a soapy water bubble test which I did there was no visible air bubbles
    They did say they would replace after I sent them a few emails
    BEST WAY wanted me to cut out the batch number in the top send a picture of it to BESTWAY and wait up to 5 days for replacement
    I said I was not prepared to do this as the spa is at a constant 34c and I will lose the heat and to reheat would cost a small fortune
    I did ask BESTWAY can I take picture of cut out batch number when the replacement came they said NO
    I am not impressed with not only BESTWAY customer services but there lack of INSTRUCTIONS on how to set up use and how to apply the chemicals
    Will I buy a BESTWAY again NO

    • @AbouttheHouse0
      @AbouttheHouse0  Год назад +1

      Very poor customer service, I agree. So, did you get a replacement lid support?

    • @garyallen8
      @garyallen8 Год назад

      @@AbouttheHouse0
      No they would not send a new top because I was not prepared to cut up the old top
      I said I would cut out the batch number and send it to BESTWAY when the replacement arrived BESTWAY did not to do that and closed the case down so now I gave to inflate the top every 3 days
      Not good what so ever the spa (bahamas) is brand new but faulty I even told BESTWAY that I will go on social media sites to let possible future buyers how bad there Customer Services are
      And I learnt more from your site setting up and maintaince than in the BESTWAY booklet

      Well, what do you know? So it is. I'm so used to extended warranties costing an arm & a leg and not being worth the paper they're written on I didn't even read far enough to find that out. Thanks for the info
