The catamaran would log any journey's made so using that wasn't an option. I watched a video a couple of days ago, a woman called Hannah Upp went missing in 2017 in St Thomas. The biggest immediate red flag was for him to not be searching for her. Even if you barely knew this person, you'd want to make sure they weren't hurt. So it makes zero sense the actions he took afterwards. These kinds of cases are way too common. It's almost always the same story too. I hope her family finds peace. And if you think that someone went overboard and you delay in getting on the radio to contact the Coast Guard, you're just delaying because you're cleaning up any evidence of foul play. And the delay in contacting the Coast Guard is because you're hoping the body gets pulled out far into the ocean , to not be found. Highly suspect boyfriend.

A few thoughts I had.. Why wouldn't local police contact the coast guard themselves? seems they would have the process of doing that down better than a civilian(not to remove Bane of guilt but still). Do we know what type of freezer was on the boat? typically you wouldn't change the entire unit if there was an issue unless its a third party unit and you could not replace parts. The refusal of search is a huge red flag, it was her home essentially.. not being able to search the last place she was and where she lived is a massive disadvantage in proving his own innocence and to the investigation as a whole. This is an incredibly bad precedent to set for law enforcement in that area. They are basically saying come here, commit a violent crime and so long as there are no witnesses(not hard you are on your own boat) and you dont leave a body on deck, we wont press the issue and pursue an investigation.. Ridiculous, my heard goes out to her family, I cant fathom their frustration and sadness.

I think the frustrating thing for her family, is that under UK law any 'person of interest' can be arrested (ie: the last people who saw a person ) and it need not always infer that person is guilty, it is more a matter of course in gathering information ( as I understand it ) - and under the US Bill of Rights, it is not quite the same.
Though that is just one tiny facet of the whole thing I guess.
The disturbing thing is, we do live in a world where "charming/vibrant" people or whatever, often float around in such circles but are really sociopathic/psychopathic. See it frankly in that kind of community where people can 'float away' and be anons and maritime law obsfucates matters maybe? See it in spiritual type communities also, unhinged or sociopathic float under a veil of charm and 'good words'. Hopefully, in the future, society will recognise this better but the 'image' first western lifestyle can be a convenient blanket it seems !
I hope if 'he' 'knows more' then the VI police find a reason to arrest. Meanwhile, it is bizarre to hire Maxwell's lawyer and presumably speculation comes out of that also.

@@annabellelee4535Don’t act like you’ve read the bill of rights in its entirety. Lmao you appear to be someone with a tenuous grasp on reality, I’m guessing reading comprehension isn’t one of your strong suits.

Ding ding. Found the superiority complex troll.
“LOL, thanks for the laughs!” Wooow. If that’s the kind of thing that genuinely makes you laugh, you’re too easily amused. Like a toddler.

@@annabellelee4535 Pathetically trolls on the internet. Also calls someone else childish lol. One day, you’ll hopefully grow up, look back and cringe at your corny responses. Or you’re just permanently mentally stunted. Probably the latter. If you’re over 18 and act this way, that’s just sad.
Oh and !!!!!! For emphasis. For some reason.
I look forward to your next repetitive and predictable “aww is the truth too much for you” response. Let’s see it.
