Huh, this variant goes hard on Control staples, rather than rely on pre-existing Dino support. Not a bad way to go about it, but I feel that escewing the Misc Package, Lost world, and strong finishers like Ultimate Conductor is a step back in terms of building this deck.
Interestingly enough, after checking out the discord for the deck, almost all of the builds appear to be control focused and they say it's a lot better off pure than with the dino combo package
Because Dinorphia itself is trap card centric, the best value you can create are out of chaining and responding to plays, making it naturally skewed to control. With misc dino package, the deck felt trying to do everything but half assed.
my version have 2 tyranno but i can become side deck more then a main deck after the new Rexturm came out the reason for it is just so-so when it needed ... is needed well , but not so much. Most of the times i try to summon it is because i need to blow something like a Chaos Max but i can just not let it made it to field and that is fine... but when i face with some thing like a Borrelsword then Tyranno gonna eat poo-poo i'm trying to put DPE in but it take 3-4 main deck slot so is kinda hard to find it way around it but i think it gonna worth it when came to Control vs Control also i put like 2 Trap Trick in because it work well
(The konami support a deck without floodgates challange (impossible)) On a serious note i hate how konami made this a stun deck because i really enjoyed playing it as interactive ,unique and fun control deck
All non-combo decks go towards Stun and stifling control eventually. I'm just glad they got a killer fusion without it being too generic like some OTHER ones...
Recuerdan esa epoca donde decían que jugar solemn judgment era suicidio, pues este deck evidencia la nula o poca importancia que le tenemos a los LP que cuando llega un deck que es literalmente matate a ti mismo para activar sus efectos llegas a sentir la adrenalina de que cualquier fallo te costara el duelo(literalmente no puedes dejar un mono con stasts bajos sin cobertura porque si no mueres) PD: El duelo de sky stryker fue la viva definición de enfrentar fuego contra fuego, en forma de que si tu colocas 3 y pasas pues te dejo 5 de back y buena suerte(sobre todo porque ash jodio de aqui al infinito al negar engage[lo cual evidencia la exagerada dependencia a engage para consistencia])
Este deck si que vive al límite! xD Por cierto, se puede dar el caso de quedar a 1 punto de vida y tener que activar algo como juicio solemne? Onda quedar con 0,5 puntos de vida

Does anyone think that the fusion is 1. Poorly designed and shouldn't exist. 2. Mightve just changed this deck from a control strat to "haha look at my vfd effect while I have like 500lp so you can't play". I rarely say much bad about non meta strats but they really are trying to make this deck lame. (Sad thing is if it becomes meta it'll be because of Rex which sucks) Nice showcase though. Shows how strong the deck can be
the deck needed a payoff this powerful to justify its gimmick, why would you play a control deck that loses to Sparks if you can just play Eldlich? Rexsturm is not even as strong as sth like Dark Law which is easier to summon and a more powerful floodgate but both can be stopped by a simple Imperm/Chalice/Droplet/DRNM, the list goes on the deck is high risk high reward but I don't see it becoming meta bc it's too easily stopped and loses to a single Hayate direct attack

Lich just sits on floods, Dinorphia uses their traps to fuse and do a myriad of other things. Sure lich is better but directly comparing them when Eldlich literally is sit on floods.dek is insulting lmao

@@jdamourep Dinorphia would win 100%. The Dinorphia normal traps all can banish themselves to stop effect damage for the entire turn. Dinorphia has better attacking power then Trickstars have defense. As long as Dinorphia has ~2 normal traps to banish they should win the duel. Unrelated but I hope Trickstar gets new support soon focusing on Link climb and Fusions :D the deck really needs it

Yeah, I feel you. I feel subbing in the standard dino engine (3 Fossil Dig, 3 Ovi, 1 Misc, 2 Babies, 3 Lost Worlds, 1 Tyarnno, optional Panks and Kaiju) makes for a much more flexible and dynamic gameplan while fully utilizing all the great support Dinos has.

Probably not well. They can negate effect and battle damage but I think trickstars do it too frequently for them to stop.
