As an owner of a low VIN car, there are many unusual things about these cars. I believe, but can't prove that parts from the test cars ended up in the lower numbered production cars. A prime example of this is that the fiberglass tub on mine has a cloth textured top area around the engine compartment which I have not seen on any other cars.

I own vin #3228 a grey interior automatic and so far as I can tell the only one with cloth seats. Even though they are extremely well done there’s been no evidence or documentation of cloth seats ever being produced even as a prototype. So it’s my belief that skilled upholsterer produced very high-quality cloth seats which seem to be the envy of other delorean owners who’ve seen them. The history of these cars and everything that’s been done from the factory has been very well documented and preserved. I bet dollars to cents at some point in the last 41 years original gas flap hood was swapped out due to damage or an owner who didn’t care for the rattling it made. However it is still the 16th one made and it makes a little difference what heard it has. It’s still a DeLorean on the road and that means more than some silly flap

We're not sure what type, but we're pretty sure that it's the original radio that DeLorean put in it!

    Where is the gas flap?

It’s under the hood, below the windshield wipers

@@impatientcreationsinc I believe what Alex is asking is where is the gas flap on the hood
The car in the video has a 1983 dmc hood that requires the whole hood be lifted to get fuel. The hood it should have which is no longer available has a door that lifts up over the gas filler cap which lets the driver leave the hood down to fill the fuel. So at some point in the last 40 years the hood has been replaced

This car was introduced before the flap was created.

@@impatientcreationsinc the flap was used from the very first car up until around 2500 or so
