I thing King SeokJin is the real backbone of BTS. He's the real silent supporter. I've seen a lot of vids that support this. And what makes him more admirable is that, he never takes credit for all the efforts he put into his actions. Like what Joonie said, Jin is a really genuine person. He's the one who holds BTS together.

I think all the members have already realized that! Even JK said that he’s the anchor of the group that really binded them together! And that Suga also wanted to inherit Jin’s attitude towards life also! And of course the rest of the group that they really enjoyed to be with Jin that they all like to travel with him all the time! Been watching all their videos from concert to run bts, gayo, festa, bon voyage, summer package, winter package, etc etc and the more I’m falling in love with Jin’s charmingly character like he’s effortlessly handsome inside and out! At first I like him because he’s super handsome and his voice and the more I dig with all his videos etc etc he’s super talented, really intelligent, and very kind! One thing I have realized too that their group is really strong and full of love because they got each other’s back like they all treated each other very well like a family including their big hit family that fully supported the group!
I remember another thoughtful present from Jin to Joon that was at first misunderstood...the wipes and jerky. Joon said something like “you could get these at a gas station” but Jin gets red in the face and says “I know you spill things so I got the wipes for you to clean up and the jerky I saw you enjoy in Japan”. I think it was a Christmas present and Jin gives his response by yelling and saying the words very fast...who else remembers😂💜

They talked about it on the episode. Its supposed to be a combination of RM and Jin (RJ). A lot of times, i see in these groups, that if the oldest isn't the leader they have a different bond. The oldest has to respect the leader's decisions, but the leader still takes into account the respect for the oldest. I wish we could adopt this kind of cultural respect in America.
This reminds me of what V said during the individual interview in Burn The Stage, he said Jin is someone who always tries to take care of everybody in the group. I’m gonna be honest.... I cried, I saw his pain when he was getting teased even by his own friends, and I cried again knowing that jin will never let him be a lonely 🐳 . Whatever their relationship is... it’s beautiful and precious it must never be broken. Namjin is more than just a ship, that’s love not in romantic way but just a pure love💜😭.
I feel like Jin will sometimes acts like the goof for those around him but he usually puts a lot more thought into his actions than others give him credit for. I agree, this is just a snippet of what Namjoon endured for BTS and ARMY. The members always say that he has endured so much because there was so much negativity from his old hip-hop crew and fans, and new ones (back then) that attacked him for his looks. This is why he is truly a precious leader. But what we can do now is let him know of how much we appreciate him and all of his hard work
I'm heartbroken too. At 3:47, we see i11even, Kyum, and Supreme Boi dissing RM and his work behind his back (and later to his face, the jealous bastards). Let me point out that Supreme Boi continues to work with Big Hit (he has writing credits for Dionysus), so he's riding the wave of success with BTS. But he has been so dismissive of BTS, BTS members, and their work. If one googles "Supreme Boi problematic", one can find a list of things he had some to show how jealous he is of BTS's success, even though it was his decision to leave Big Hit. Namjoon feels loyalty to him because they practically grew up together. But SB appears to get pleasure of breaking Namjoon's heart. i11even was also a BTS trainee but left before BTS debuted. In short, these are guys that Namjoon feels loyalty towards, but all they want is dis him because they were too chicken to stick it out like Namjoon did.
I remember when RM cried singing Whalien song in their concert. When members asked him why, he told them that he cried bcs he remember the day he wrote that song during his trainee days.
The simple fact is that all of the boys love Namjoon. He brought this group together. He was signed as a solo artist. He told Bang he wanted a Hip Hop Group. He's the reason BTS even exist. None of them would be where they are today without him and they know this.
I think they are very good and sincere friends. Not in a romantic way.. I think Jin has a very good understanding of kim Namjoons deep thinking and thoughts and how sometimes that because if those thoughts he suppresses himself and feels lonely to sometimes unbearable moments of loneliness. I found a song last week in sound cloud. A RUclipsr made a video with the song... I listened to it and it made me cry ... it's called suicide by RM its pre debut.... then you have kim Namjoons song forever rain and a few other songs he has written that tells you how deep his sadness is sometimes..... to be honest my heart breaks for him in so many ways because it feels like he is hurting pretty deeply . I hope he finds happiness more and allows the comfort of his friends to ease his loneliness and his emotional pain.

He also says he put a lot of 정성 into the gift and that it has a lot of 정성. When this word is applied to a gift, it can get translated as "meaningful", but it actually means "with good-hearted effort" or "as best quality". That's what he was saying when he repeatedly said he put in 정성 and that the gift was filled with 정성. This is a phrase commonly used in Korea to mean you sincerely did your best to give you the best quality you could. If he wanted to say that this was a gift with the "meaning" the way we're thinking about it, then he would have said 의미있는. Now, what's sweet is that Joonie does say to Jin when he opens the Kore "이건 굉장히 의미가 있어요" which mean "This is very meaningful" with the word 의미/meaning, so I do think Kore is something that is special to Joonie as well as to Jin. Thanks, yes, I already knew that because I have actually lived in Korea for a few years when I was younger 😃. It was hard to decide what the best translation would be for 정성 in english, since there is not really a word that expresses the concept of it entirely, as it's a mix of effort+sincerity+thoughtfulness, so, to describe Jin's words, I went for " I have put thought into it" as given the context it's probably the closest thing, while I chose " this is meaningful " for Namjoon's comment as 의미 is the direct equivalent of meaning in english. All in all I thought that to sum it up, "meaningful" is the word that expressess Jin's intesions the best given the context, since, right at the beginning he says twice that it's and amazing gift, then he says a lots of times that he put thought 정성 into it and then says 그래 "that's right" to Namjoon's comment of " it's meaningful ", it just made the most sense to me. Korean is a beautiful language but it's hard to translate, both because some words don't have and exact counterpart in other languages and because getting the "tone" right is very hard (for example, on twitter people always say that Jin is "slamming armys down" in his answers in the new app, but actually, he's phrasing his comments very politely in korean 😅 and it's just not possible to get the polite tone accross in english). i think it's very likely that Whalien is autobiographical and Namjoon is the lonely whale. prepare for long explanation. i remember reading on Quora a thread about how it feels to have very high IQ and a lot of people wrote that they felt so lonely. i especially remember a mum to a little boy who wrote there. i think her son was about 7 years old and had IQ about maybe 150 and he told his mum he was lonely. his mother had answered "but you have friends over almost every day" and he had responded "those are not my friends. they are just buddies." i felt so heartbroken reading that. Thank you for this amazing piece of work. I really love it. NamJin always remains under the radar which makes it even sweeter as a pairing. Jin is a very considerate person with a depth of feeling that no one can believe or imagine from watching him and his dorkiness. He thinks long and deep before he acts accordingly for each member. That is how he makes each of them feel like they are the only one special to him. He knows he is not cut out to be a leader as it is a role that comes with heavy responsibilities so he is very grateful that RM has taken it on. The least he can do is give emotional support. I feel so much for RM. He truly has been through a lot. If I were him, I would be happy to be rid of ‘friends’ that don’t respect, support and encourage my life choices. Let's admit it, Jin is a very thoughtful person and a keen observer. The mere fact that his gifts to RM carry a deeper meaning, it shows how thoughtful and mindful Jin is towards RM. Jin pays attention to small things that actually carry a huge and significant message. He is a caring man. It warms my heart.
The part about his "friends" breaks my heart :( I think any idol must struggle to relate to their old friends after debuting, but Joonie must have especially struggled because of how idols are looked down upon in the underground rapper community. But today, he's proved how amazing of an artist he can be with the identity of an idol and how much of an impact he can make, even surpassing what his "friends" could ever do. For every person who criticizes you, there are 10 others who love and support you, and Jin is the perfect embodiment of this.

I agree. With RM and Jin, you have to look for what is not obvious. People focus on the 'hand on thigh' or 'hand on shoulder' scenes, but its these small things that really show how meaningful their relationship is. in BVS3, in Malta, jin's ankle is hurting or something and he loses a bet (wherein the person whose dish arrives last has to carry everyone's luggage.) RM swaps dishes with him and takes the punishment instead. These acts of love go unnoticed, but if you pay close attention to the two of them, you'll see that their love is very real.

I have some thoughts and I want to share them with you guys. I'm a Namjin supporter. Ehh actually many people would think analyses are cringey and kinda exaggerate things . Well part of that is true because many analysists make their ships seem intense and romanticize everything they have seen by inserting a lot of intense and dramatic and depressing music + overuse the slow-motion effects. Or maybe I was just overthinking because I don't like their ships. But I think your video is not "too subjective" ( because they are all facts, and you linked them together ) and I am actually watching this muted. I don't know what really happens behind the scenes, but I think BTS' relationships on cam are what they really have. Many people only see them as "the leader" and "the big mommabro" relationship ( too much responsibilty, duh ) but ofc It's more than that . They may be best friends or lovers or soulmates( there's nothing wrong with the lovers thing, if ppl judge me bc I was being delulu, then they are making assumptions too). I always feel like Jin somehow wants to shout out to the world that "Namjoon is precious" lol. I think Kore and RJ are more than proofs of their companionship. When I first saw the BT21 characters, I thought RJ was a normal name and the other character’s had strange names. Namjoon mentioned that people in the West would think RJ was good and I agree.
Became a fan of theirs in July of this year. I am still learning so much about each member! How authentic, humble, hard working, and just how precious each member is! This video was well put together! Had me in tears! RM is a strong person for having to go through that! And Jin is such an amazing soul! Your video was amazing! Thank you!
The most probable situation is, Jin always remember RJ from the start (prize giving ceremony, RM+Jin), so during creation of BT21 he juz name his son RJ. RM might forgotten how the name is created, Jin still keep it a secret these yrs and keep giving RM some hints. Most obvious hint is in this yr BV. Not sure RM catch up with the hints or not 😂 Few members understand in seconds, only our clumsy leader catch up late 😂

Jin is a very thoughtful man with deep sensitivity, though he often put himself a funny position to make everyone laugh. When he plays games in run BTS, he often wins, but lots of time he still end up doing those punishments as a accompany or replacement for his little bros. I watched this video before this one updated, and I like it a lot. I always think NamJin is real, I don't think is only a ship. They are extremely closed to be just friends, too many coincidences in every single detail in their life's, With BTS/BH nothing is a coincidence. They are always together. I've always had this impression that the reason why Jin is so close to each of the members is that he feels more deeply than the average person, more than understanding them, Jin empathizes with them to a point where he cannot just stand idle and he actually does something about it, and not just say ' I feel sorry for you' or ' I really understand you' just to make him look good. That's why he created a bond that is both different and binding to each of the members because he does more to each of them in real life and talks less about it on camera. When you know that you are being cared for, you tend to naturally pay it back by being nicer and placing more importance on that person, and we often see that from all the members towards Jin. In namjoon's case, we only know a part of the hardship he had gone through for going on a road less traveled. It's really on point how he compared himself to that whale and speaks just how much Namjoon makes music in relation to his experiences and environment. Jin, most probably with his intuitive mind, picks up on these things, even though Namjoon doesn't dare voice it out as he has this mentality that he should be stronger as he carries the team on his shoulders. Since he is the leader thou, Jin is mindful not to overstep his bounds and go beyond what help Namjoon wants to accept. What makes Jin so unique is that he actually thinks first before doing anything & is mindful not to be too intrusive, and I think that resonates really well with Namjoon's sensitivity and his very independent nature. And it reflects in the way Namjoon treats Jin differently than the rest, and how the fans noticed it, and why Namjin was born in the first place. It should be also noted that Joon has 3 older brothers (jin, yoongi and hobi) and yet Joon places Jin in that place where he's the one he considers the most, you see it in the way he interacts with Jin, the way he is not shy to touch or initiate skinship with him and we know very well that Joon does not buy into the fanservice agenda. He has loosened up during these years, and I just wonder who is influential enough to change him? Jin, in a simple way that he knows Namjoon would not mind, made Kore in order to reach out to Namjoon, just to say that he is not alone in this world and that he can talk about his worries. Not because he is RM of BTS, but because they are actually friends in real life and they have a relationship that goes beyond a leader and a member of a band.

I think all the members have already realized that! Even JK said that he’s the anchor of the group that really binded them together! And that Suga also wanted to inherit Jin’s attitude towards life also! And of course the rest of the group that they really enjoyed to be with Jin that they all like to travel with him all the time! Been watching all their videos from concert to run bts, gayo, festa, bon voyage, summer package, winter package, etc etc and the more I’m falling in love with Jin’s charmingly character like he’s effortlessly handsome inside and out! I agree, this is just a snippet of what Namjoon endured for BTS and ARMY. The members always say that he has endured so much because there was so much negativity from his old hip-hop crew and fans, and new ones (back then) that attacked him for his looks. This is why he is truly a precious leader. But what we can do now is let him know of how much we appreciate him and all of his hard work
I'm heartbroken too. At 3:47, we see i11even, Kyum, and Supreme Boi dissing RM and his work behind his back (and later to his face, the jealous bastards). Let me point out that Supreme Boi continues to work with Big Hit (he has writing credits for Dionysus), so he's riding the wave of success with BTS. But he has been so dismissive of BTS, BTS members, and their work. If one googles "Supreme Boi problematic", one can find a list of things he had some to show how jealous he is of BTS's success, even though it was his decision to leave Big Hit. Namjoon feels loyalty to him because they practically grew up together. But SB appears to get pleasure of breaking Namjoon's heart. i11even was also a BTS trainee but left before BTS debuted.
In short, these are guys that Namjoon feels loyalty towards, but all they want is dis him because they were too chicken to stick it out like Namjoon did.

I found a song last week in sound cloud. A RUclipsr made a video with the song... I listened to it and it made me cry ... it's called suicide by RM its pre debut.... then you have kim Namjoons song forever rain and a few other songs he has written that tells you how deep his sadness is sometimes..... to be honest my heart breaks for him in so many ways because it feels like he is hurting pretty deeply . 🇰🇷🇰🇷🇰🇷 Just to let you know, the Korean word that Jin was saying that was being translated as "meaningful" is 정성있는. He also says he put a lot of 정성 into the gift and that it has a lot of 정성. When this word is applied to a gift, it can get translated as "meaningful", but it actually means "with good-hearted effort" or "as best quality". That's what he was saying when he repeatedly said he put in 정성 and that the gift was filled with 정성. This is a phrase commonly used in Korea to mean you sincerely did your best to give you the best quality you could. If he wanted to say that this was a gift with the "meaning" the way we're thinking about it, then he would have said 의미있는. Now, what's sweet is that Joonie does say to Jin when he opens the Kore "이건 굉장히 의미가 있어요" which mean "This is very meaningful" with the word 의미/meaning, so I do think Kore is something that is special to Joonie as well as to Jin.

Thanks, yes, I already knew that because I have actually lived in Korea for a few years when I was younger 😃. It was hard to decide what the best translation would be for 정성 in english, since there is not really a word that expresses the concept of it entirely, as it's a mix of effort+sincerity+thoughtfulness, so, to describe Jin's words, I went for " I have put thought into it" as given the context it's probably the closest thing, while I chose " this is meaningful " for Namjoon's comment as 의미 is the direct equivalent of meaning in english.
All in all I thought that to sum it up, "meaningful" is the word that expressess Jin's intesions the best given the context, since, right at the beginning he says twice that it's and amazing gift, then he says a lots of times that he put thought 정성 into it and then says 그래 "that's right" to Namjoon's comment of " it's meaningful ", it just made the most sense to me.
Korean is a beautiful language but it's hard to translate, both because some words don't have and exact counterpart in other languages and because getting the "tone" right is very hard (for example, on twitter people always say that Jin is "slamming armys down" in his answers in the new app, but actually, he's phrasing his comments very politely in korean 😅 and it's just not possible to get the polite tone accross in english). i think it's very likely that Whalien is autobiographical and Namjoon is the lonely whale. prepare for long explanation. i remember reading on Quora a thread about how it feels to have very high IQ and a lot of people wrote that they felt so lonely. i especially remember a mum to a little boy who wrote there. i think her son was about 7 years old and had IQ about maybe 150 and he told his mum he was lonely. his mother had answered "but you have friends over almost every day" and he had responded "those are not my friends. they are just buddies." i felt so heartbroken reading that. Jin is a very considerate person with a depth of feeling that no one can believe or imagine from watching him and his dorkiness. He thinks long and deep before he acts accordingly for each member. That is how he makes each of them feel like they are the only one special to him.
He knows he is not cut out to be a leader as it is a role that comes with heavy responsibilities so he is very grateful that RM has taken it on. The least he can do is give emotional support.

Let's admit it, Jin is a very thoughtful person and a keen observer. The mere fact that his gifts to RM carry a deeper meaning, it shows how thoughtful and mindful Jin is towards RM. The part about his "friends" breaks my heart :( I think any idol must struggle to relate to their old friends after debuting, but Joonie must have especially struggled because of how idols are looked down upon in the underground rapper community. I think Jin and NamJoon are the most intelligent members of BTS which gives them a special connection. I love seeing their interactions. Jin is my bias so I think everything he does is wonderful. The story of RJ and Kore is so thoughtful and sweet.

I agree. With RM and Jin, you have to look for what is not obvious. People focus on the 'hand on thigh' or 'hand on shoulder' scenes, but its these small things that really show how meaningful their relationship is. in BVS3, in Malta, jin's ankle is hurting or something and he loses a bet (wherein the person whose dish arrives last has to carry everyone's luggage.) RM swaps dishes with him and takes the punishment instead. These acts of love go unnoticed, but if you pay close attention to the two of them, you'll see that their love is very real.

I have some thoughts and I want to share them with you guys. I'm a Namjin supporter.
Ehh actually many people would think analyses are cringey and kinda exaggerate things . Well part of that is true because many analysists make their ships seem intense and romanticize everything they have seen by inserting a lot of intense and dramatic and depressing music + overuse the slow-motion effects. Or maybe I was just overthinking because I don't like their ships. But I think your video is not "too subjective" ( because they are all facts, and you linked them together ) and I am actually watching this muted.
I don't know what really happens behind the scenes, but I think BTS' relationships on cam are what they really have. Many people only see them as "the leader" and "the big mommabro" relationship ( too much responsibilty, duh ) but ofc It's more than that . They may be best friends or lovers or soulmates( there's nothing wrong with the lovers thing, if ppl judge me bc I was being delulu, then they are making assumptions too). I always feel like Jin somehow wants to shout out to the world that "Namjoon is precious" lol.
I think Kore and RJ are more than proofs of their companionship. RJ is 70% RM+Jin ( Run ep 51) and it may represent a rela with no space between the two...........................

When I first saw the BT21 characters, I thought RJ was a normal name and the other character’s had strange names. Namjoon mentioned that people in the West would think RJ was good and I agree.
Became a fan of theirs in July of this year. I am still learning so much about each member! How authentic, humble, hard working, and just how precious each member is! we all know that Jin is someone who is beyond of what he actually shows; he’s quite an observant and pay attention to little things that make him a very thoughtful person, and he has a heart of gold. he just not do something out of of the urge of wanting to do it, there are some underlying meaning of off his actions, that if you’ve been following our precious Bantan for some times, you can pretty much tell that Seokjin has far more depth than his usually goofy and carefree persona that he shows.

I've always had this impression that the reason why Jin is so close to each of the members is that he feels more deeply than the average person, more than understanding them, Jin empathizes with them to a point where he cannot just stand idle and he actually does something about it, and not just say ' I feel sorry for you' or ' I really understand you' just to make him look good.
That's why he created a bond that is both different and binding to each of the members because he does more to each of them in real life and talks less about it on camera. When you know that you are being cared for, you tend to naturally pay it back by being nicer and placing more importance on that person, and we often see that from all the members towards Jin.
In namjoon's case, we only know a part of the hardship he had gone through for going on a road less traveled. It's really on point how he compared himself to that whale and speaks just how much Namjoon makes music in relation to his experiences and environment.
Jin, most probably with his intuitive mind, picks up on these things, even though Namjoon doesn't dare voice it out as he has this mentality that he should be stronger as he carries the team on his shoulders.
Since he is the leader thou, Jin is mindful not to overstep his bounds and go beyond what help Namjoon wants to accept. What makes Jin so unique is that he actually thinks first before doing anything & is mindful not to be too intrusive, and I think that resonates really well with Namjoon's sensitivity and his very independent nature.
And it reflects in the way Namjoon treats Jin differently than the rest, and how the fans noticed it, and why Namjin was born in the first place. It should be also noted that Joon has 3 older brothers (jin, yoongi and hobi) and yet Joon places Jin in that place where he's the one he considers the most, you see it in the way he interacts with Jin, the way he is not shy to touch or initiate skinship with him and we know very well that Joon does not buy into the fanservice agenda. He has loosened up during these years, and I just wonder who is influential enough to change him?
Jin, in a simple way that he knows Namjoon would not mind, made Kore in order to reach out to Namjoon, just to say that he is not alone in this world and that he can talk about his worries.
Not because he is RM of BTS, but because they are actually friends in real life and they have a relationship that goes beyond a leader and a member of a band.
