TY for sharing your adventures! You are a natural with the camera and entertaining! However, please reconsider your SHTF planning and consider opting more for the farmers fields over the CAPS pull. As long as you land in line with the furrows, I would suspect that to be much safer (as you maintain controll of the aircraft at all times) vs the CAPS for the public, you and your plane in my opinion. In my lifetime, I have personally witnessed two different pilots have forced landings in fields and both pilots and thier aircraft were able to fly again afterwards. (Granted, the farm land in my geo area is mostly flat. Which not the same as areas that I have seen you fly thus far.)

Thank you for your feedback! Cirrus teaches us that CAPS needs to be in our minds at all times in case of an engine out emergency. 100% of parachute pulls leads to survival. I like those odds!
      Thanks for watching!!

You may have cut it off in your editing, but it is always a good idea to let tower know that you don’t have the traffic insight.

That almost sounded like a BUEC freq at LA center at first. They can have a lot of static.

Yeah it was pretty bad. Sounds like a hot mic too in a way.

Awesome video! As an aspiring pilot do you recommend I start my training in a cirrus?

If you can then yes definitely! But flight training in general is amazing, no matter what you’re flying.

Congratulations on your PPL! That’s so awesome! Well I’d say start meeting some people in your area that fly Cirrus (like a forum, or word of mouth) and let them know you’d like to connect and continue to learn. Most pilots are happy to fly with other pilots/enthusiasts.
