I loved this video, my daily practices are splashing ice cold water on my face when I first wake up, have my coffee, do a morning post & answer messages, walk my dog 2x/day, have a smoothie, take my vitamins, listen to a podcast, this I find super important, spend at least an hour on my connections for my business, more on weekends, power walk almost daily, chat with my mum who is 500 miles away.😊
I have recently found your channel and am loving your content! It’s so nice to see real content for real women for those of us who are no longer in our 20’s. Wishing you lots of growth on you channel and many happy moments as you plan your wedding.
My favorite part of the DND feature is that you can set particular contacts to beable to contact you regardless, as well as via what methods you are ok being contacted (messages vs call). This lets me have the peace of mind that my older parents can get through to me even if I close off my alerts from everything else
What a great episode!!!! It was very thoughtful and motivational. It made me think of my "non negotiables" - knitting every morning, breakfast ( full of proteins) listen to music, movement of my body ( walk, bike, exercise) and fresh air everyday too.
hi katie, I love your videos! I’ve followed you since the ACNH era!! some of my non-negotiable habits are expressing gratitude, skincare, stretching, drinking at least 2 liters of water a day, waiting an hour and half after waking up to have coffee, making the bed & setting intention for the day. 😊❤
First non-negotitiable get up in the morning before everyone else! Also something I am starting to implement as part of my morning routine is 3 x 5-min "health snacks" 1 each for mind, body and heart. This idea came from the Rangan Chatterjee book Feel Better in 5... so my non-negotitiables come in the form of movement, nature and some positive journalling .... when I miss one I really notice the difference in how I feel and perform for the day 😊
My most important non negotiable is my sleep. I go to bed around 10pm (unless I feel tired earlier) and I wake up at 6am without the need for an alarm (I have a backup alarm just in case). Very rarely (once every 2 months maybe) I go to bed later because I attend a concert or a plane is delayed for example, but it is an exception. I refuse to go to bed later for a TV show or a piece of work.
Habits are important but I wouldn't go as far as to say that they shape our identity. Yes, what we do every day has a significant impact on our lives, but our identities and who we are is what shape our desires. We use those desires to make routines and habits. Additionally, sometimes habits and routines are just a means to an end. Like a person having to wake up at 5am every day for work. Doing that every day won't necessarily make them a morning person. I know that isn't the premise of this particular video, but I was compelled to share alternative thoughts on habits.
i think habits reinforce our beliefs and our identity we create our lives from our thoughts , in order to reach a goal we must change our identity and create systems/ habits that reflect that identity, atomic habits is a good book
I'm new to the world of healthy in a healthy way (if that makes sense). I love the idea of non negotiables and plan to implement them! Currently not looking on my phone when I first wake up and also making my bed. ❤
Proven sounds like an amazing product but, everything sounds like an amqzing product when its sent to you for free and you sponsors them. I take reviews that are sponsored with a grane of salt. You can't convince me if you had to pay for the products yourselves it would be the same experience.
While you state a wise point - you would be equally as wise to consider that creators get approached by many brands and often will only agree to do a sponsored post for something they truly believe in. Don’t automatically discount the creator (or the product) just because it’s sponsored. And - in this new way of the world, this is how products market and creators get paid. It’s the “new” TV commercials, except real people are trying the products. It’s beats some model in a Covergirl commercial trying to sell me mascara while wearing fake lashes 🤷🏼♀️ Sorry, I’m clearly passionate about the topic… not meant to sound attacking, just offering another perspective.
I agree with Davina. At the end of the day most YT channels are businesses and the creators are trying to make money. The biggest giveaway is that so many creators will never use the product again in a future video. Neither have they used it long enough prior to the sponsored video to be able to give a proper, objective, informed opinion.
This makes me sad to read because I would never endorse something I didn't genuinely believe in. I hope you find that genuineness in my channel, but understand your hesitations for sure. I get a lot of goofy offers (like ... very goofy ones), but would never associate my name to something I would half-ass endorse

Same! You are making me feel like reaching my ideal lifestyle is totally possible. 👏
I couldn’t agree more!
This was fabulous! And so in alignment with how we run out days and what we encourage to others, LOVE this! I look forward to connecting!
Thank you for the video. Non-negotiables....morning pages...morning light...meditation...journal (intention and gratitude) sole water and a walk.

Put this in the background while cleaning and it helped so much

My non negotiable is trash talk, rude comment, i want my ear and my heart to be pure. If you do that, sayonara
Where's the intro and outro song from?
It's "City of Mine" by Snake City (feat. Pandaraps, Xavy Rusan)
