I'm in saudi arabia for last 2 years and this all rules are already governed by the saudi government. Kafala system is only for those who come for rental work, and rental work is not governed by government and it's illegal. Government try to stop rental work.
I am not criticize the country, but 1. This type of case in gulf countries is less then 0.1%, i was working in india as a engineer, they treated as animal i was working 14-16 hrs daly without any overtime or bonus. In saudi only 8 hre duty includes lunch breaks and unlimited tea breaks, if i do extra work one hours they give 2× time overtime on basic salary . 3. In saudi working place like office or field women are 100% safe but i am not sure in India.( example Kolkata rape case) 4. In gulf you are 100% safe for all religions , but i in india am not sure 3. My three family members working in saudi , they all are happy, living with family in saudi, 5. It's is not new law, in saudi (no one take your passport or any documents from you).
