Thanks for the video, helped to do most of the job but my car is a 1.8 so the radiator is a little different, it didn't fit through the gap so had to remove bumper and the crash bar.
Hey, I’ve got a Golf 3 with a single radiator fan, the engine bay looks identical to yours. I have been struggling to find a replacement fan as mine is old and making noise now. Outdoor you link me where you got the replacement fan from or the specs of it?
Hi if the sticker is still on the fan it might still have the part number on it it's a long number. If I recall the new fan was febi bilstein and the parts numbers matched. We got it from a local parts supplier but I had a quick look on line and there are lots of parts sites that should have the fan in Europe. Auto doc was one of them might be worth a look If you have any questions just ask

Is the shroud important or can I not put it back? Mine is broken and doesn’t really fit
