Missed opportunity to call this The Knightly News
This is brilliant! I hope the loudest and foilest of the Iron Warriors keeps this idea for the 11th edition GK refresh!
Noice👌
@@Pattern_Recognitionscause as we know Iron Warriors are pragmatists based in cold hard facts, while Imperial Fists speculate, lie and dream. All 3 being traits of weakness( not to mention they’re also YELLOW. The color of cowardice). Iron Within. Iron Without.
Failrak whiffs again.
If GW releases a Tyranid Kill Team and a Tyranid Terrain in the same box, i’m gonna be so freaking happy!
Fingers crossed for shrikes!
I'm so hoping for these, I think it's such a shame I can't use a kill team nids officially. They could update the warriors too but giving them wings would be great too
Nid terrain plus Catachan would be cool
@@humantwist-offcap9514 with a new detachment based entirely around Warriors I think its not too unlikely
HOOK THAT STRAIGHT TO MY VEINS!
I wish Grey Knights got a new unit. Our infantry sculpts are 20 years old.
thats why i sold my army, after years and years i couldnt see them anymore ;/
Don't fix what isn't broken
Im still betting on 11th edition that they get their refresh. Now with new terminators they should be able to refresh everything
Welp you can’t refresh what is supposed to be unknown in GW’s eyes.
@LordAKiraAndou Only way I'm spending any money on grey knights is if they get new models.
The current ones are way too dated.
Praying for the day when Valrak posts the Monday rumour video called 'Dark Eldar HUGE refresh' 🙏
Return of Vect
@derNeni Lady Malys please.
I DONT WANT NAMED CHARACTERS LETS FINALLY GET SOME EXPANDED NORMAL RANGEEEEEE LETS GOOOOOOOOO
We need a grey knight killteam...thats what grey knights need.
It sucks that GW is just going to cram a bunch of daemons into my Thousand Sons army and then brag about how many data sheets it has available to it now instead of just giving me more Thousand Sons for my Thousand Sons army.
Shields on knights - from the books I've read are integrated into the carapace and controlled by the pilot to shift directions if focus is needed.
That's how Ion Shields work, but this doesn't sound like an Ion shield but some sort of shield generator in addition to their base Ion Shields.
@@andrewadamski8547 maybe void shield
Awesome to hear about Tyranids getting terrain, hopefully is true. Perhaps in relation to Hive Fleet Tiamet? Praise the Hive Mind!
@@JoseCarlosQuian interested to see official tyranid terrain. My buddy has been printing a variety of organic alien terrain - interesting but a little oversized.
I wonder if this will be tied to a KT release.
@@jason2089 they haven't actually put out a tyranid KT yet, so that would make sense
If the noise marines come in boxes of 3, I don't think the preview box would give you 2 units of 6 it would be 2 units of 3.
The knights rumours sounds like it might be a revamp of the mechanicum knights like the styrix and mageara but I could see it being a different brand new kit so that you can't play it in horus heresy.
Both loyalist and chaos knights getting the same chasis seems like we will just get a new loyalist knight. Which would make me sad because the pure dedicated chaos knights are such amazing sculpts, would still like to se a dedicated chaos tyrant knight sculpt.
Yeah - seems like a cost-cutting measure by GW that's not going to result in a price difference for the consumer. They're just being lame about it.
Was really hoping to see a proper chaos version of the Dominus-class knight. Digitigrade legs, lots of spiky bits, horrific faces, etc.
Killing Daemons as a separate army is a shame. I don't mind them having some stuff in dedicated marine codices but they are fun as a separate entity. Not to mention many player have mixed daemons so they are gonna be unhappy.
fwiw, it looks like Daemons will be getting more detachments during Grotmass.
It would be so fucking sick of we got a grey knights versus emperors children box like the First War of Armageddon but with tentacles and lots of leather
As I see the bot brigade was here first, oh well.
Hope grey knights will get something real good, and not just a blood angels style check mark models
there's only so far that GW can take 'resculpted HQ' as the big release for a faction with their codex.
So exited for the emperors children but now I'm so curious for the thousand sons
GK no resculpt again. Then people wonder why my entire GK army is 3d printed. Lmfao
I prefer the old stuff, so I'm 100% fine they don't get the primaris treatment.
@@Eganize Agreed. For me, the new releases of any 40k stuff just seem progressively lacking in flavour, and more like they're just copying Halo.
Opposite for me. I've hated space marine proportions since I first started playing in the early 90s.
The primaris and general SM releases since this update to SM aesthetics in HH and 40k are the first SMs I've ever looked at and thought "that actually looks good"
CSM have had some cool models for a while but the loyalists always whiffed the aesthetics for me.
Which is why I'm kinda excited for a Grey Knights reboot. Loved the lore and such around them from the start but never could bring myself to buy the awful looking things
@moreplease998 HH models are massive improvements, they look great, but the Primaris stuff is absolutely disgustingly ugly. Again, looks like something out of Halo. And then there are those vile tanks. Gross. Characterless.
The GK refresh - I'll bet they all look like new Coteaz. Ugly, with all the character of a glass of water and a cheese sandwich.
Heh. I prefer the primaris baseline style to firstborn baseline style, even with the new ones.
The thing I agree on with primaris criticisms is that they need more chapter specific aesthetics. They're a bit too generic.
Though GW is apparently addressing that complaint
As someone just getting into 40K Tabletop who (probably unwisely) started with Grey Knights, I’m a little bummed we haven’t heard anything more substantial about the silvery bois.
Their models are ancient and a bunch of short kings with some sorta dated proportions.
Also, PLEASE, if nothing else, please give us a new Draigo
That man is not looking great and resin models are cringe
I would love to see a new Stern model.
Same for me , although I have also ended up with some big stompy imperial knights too.
Valrak doing his best gruff chapter master voice here.
video starts at 1:06 btw
Ah yeah, just ignore all the waffle warning people about rumours...
@@ChapterMasterValrak at this point you have a 100% success rate, hardly rumours are they.
3:55 I wouldn’t mind seeing an invulnerable save that protects against close combat attacks, too.
Thank you for the update. I'm excited to start Emperor's Children eventually. I think they're gonna really pull this off.
Brother, i had the biggest letdown when the blood angels got released, i only liked the captain, the sanguinary priest and lemartes ,but the thousand sons getting new stuff got me interested in the 40k table top again. They are the only two factions i collect at this moment. I have some hope in the future. Thanks, valk. i'll be waiting for next week, and have a good day.
All is Dust!.
I wish GW would rerelease the gothic cathedral terrain. I like the latest KT stuff, but it's too industrial for me. I really regret not getting the old one from several years back now. As for Demons, I honestly preferred it back in 3rd or so edition when the codex just had a generic 'lesser demon' and 'greater demon' entries.
This Grey Knight stuff sounds suss.
Really disappointed. Strike squads and terminators desperately need their refresh. I was also hoping for a less ugly baby carrier but I guess that wont happen unless the upgrade kit makes it look like some of the fan made 3d printed ones. It would also be nice if they got access to some more vehicles. They could let them use some primaris vehicles maybe with a grey knight upgrade kit or maybe even some heresy vehicles with an upgrade kit
I hate that change to daemons if does come to pass. I love mixing and matching my daemons. I don’t want to play CSM, I want to play chaos daemons and the fact they’re removing it to force me to play the losers in power armor irritates me. They get books upon books of lore, I had my army. But now I’m losing it to cater to them. Just unbelievable.
Can't believe Valrak doesn't want the baby carrier to go
Hey Valrak hope this finds you well! Just hoping you could give a small update on the Wolves and if anything is going on with them!
The lack of major psychers in the current marine lineup has been a bit rough for those like me who enjoy a little warp shenanigans (with our own custom chapters), so the wolves are the best bet on getting some despite not having -any- psychers, only rune priests, which would do in a pinch.
Done two videos on them, mate, have you watched those ones?
@ChapterMasterValrak I only occasionally drop in so I wasn't sure how much time had passed in between some of the updates 🤣
Love the grey knights aesthetic and lore, hope they get refreshed soon
Grey Knights vs Emperor's Children for 11th edition!
sorry you misspelt space marines
New kill team season would be in the autumn, we still have a spring and summer box. 4 per season
Man being a grey knight and imperial knight player has sucked lately
Looks like chaos knights will be waiting until eleventh edition for a knight tyrant kit. :(
Any chance of a tiny teaser about that Thousand Sons mention right at the end there, please Val? 🤞🤞🤞
Weren't "shields on Knight" basically that one obscure Horus Heresy Deredeo weapon option that gave inv around it (Atomantic Pavise? Something like that)
Honestly sounds like, shame it didn’t come out for the deredeo dread though
I want new Grey Knights so bad 😭
On Xmas Day, Fulgrim's model gets revealed. Dorn's corpse is clearly visable on the base.
We're back with another Monday Valrak Scam. Grey names can enter tonight's marble race.
When da wace?
I posted this in someone's comment, but to my fellow Daemons players, I think we'll know by the end of this month if our codex is getting squatted. Which would suck, but wouldn't be surprising. My theory is that we're going to have a Be'lakor specific detachment for the Grotmus Calendar that can use daemons for all 4 gods. If we do, then i think we'll know for sure the codex is going away. At that point, we basically have a Be'lakor regiment of renown, so GW will consider the situation with him handled for this edition. Then, in 11th edition, he'll go in the CSM codex. Just my thought on the matter.
Dude, I really, *really* hope you're right about the tyranid terrain. A dedicated kill team would be great, but to have some official terrain besides the handful of old oop/insanely expensive forgeworld stuff would be fantastic.
Hype for new Chaos Knights
I guess im curious to see upgrade sprues and what that'll be for. This is the first time they've done that with GK. My guess is part of it will be for their resin land raider so GW can toss that from FW. It would also be interesting to see some new variants of the Dreadknight too. Perhaps even upgrades to the new Librarian in Terminator armor since GK dont even have a model for their unique one. For such an outdated range I think many of us probably would have just prefered a new leader, like a Librarian but oh well. Hopefully they trully do get the love next edition.
GW is kinda stupid. In 9/10 Edition we had the whole Vashtor/Cadia Falls/Abbadon 13th Crusade - demons everywhere! Would have been the perfect GK refresh time. But GW waits till 11th when they bring back……..Orcs. 🤦🏻♂️
Upgrade kit sounds like a KT, where they are releasing new models band with another band that is composed by old models with an upgrade kit.
THOUSAND SONS LETS GOOOOOOOO
05:58 "Way more Terrain!" yes please!
Oh I like the sound of that shield generator knight
40K taking so many notes out of the AoS playbook
Plenty of good "rumor" information about EC today :D thank you Valrak!
I'd give my left leg for a plastic Kaldor Draigo!
and my AXE!
So EC is getting 2 elite squads at release? Noise marines and the dual blade masters you mentioned before.
It's going to be an upgrade sprue for each of the 10 man squads isn't it? For Emperors Children.
Most likely
If loyalist knights get some little knights to add some flavor like the chaos knights have, that’ll be awesome
Knights don't have combat patrols or kill teams, so introducing House militia is the only sensible release for them. Adding more large Knights is only going to make things worse and players are already divided on whether they should be a faction at all.
Chaos Knights, on the other hand, could be treated to a dedicated kit for the Tyrant.
Happy with Horrors joining the Thousand Sons, but I wouldn't be surprised if all the Daemons got new dedicated kits for 40K.
Harlequins vs Tyranids would be an excellent Kill Team expansion.
As a Mechanicus player I'd like to offer our Secutarii as a ground troop/ killteam force. Armored Skitarii that keep combatants off the feet of knights. Technically a Heresy unit, but only exists as a resin upgrade sprue for the 40k Skits.
3-6 squad size for noise marines sounds super weird if they're going to be battleline.
6 is slaaneshs holy(?) number so it makes sense for noise marines to be in squads of 6 and the sheer amount of damages 6 noise marines can make you don’t need more than 6
Doubt they will be battleline
@@keithmoore7629Now if Eightbound would be in squads of 8 and Rubrics 9. 👌
Have to wait and see but just makes no logical sense they go and make a codex for agents of the imperium and go back and promise a deathwatch codex but delete daemons
Id be fine with Chaos Daemons going the way of AoS as long as they dont half ass it. In AoS if you play Blades of Khorne you have the option and support to run just oure Khornite demons if that's your preference. If they let you do that in 40k and they don't limit the number of demons you can take like they currently do then thats torally fine by me
I hope they bring the Grey Knight killteam back, I got one in the shell, rdy to play.
There’s a head in some EC art that I want to see. Basically all the skin has been flayed off and their head is just muscle tissue and a respirator. I need it. Also need to release Eidolon as a character.
How will GW manage to balance another 30 detachments ? Will their goal of creating a balanced Warhammer 40k simply crumble under its own weight ?
Well, it seems like they are managing it by making the new detachments useless. The DG one is worse than the index DG one, the DA one is slightly better than the DA supplement Ravenwing one but still leagues below GTF
You had me at Chaos Knights, let's goooooo
YES GK NEWS THANK YOU CHAPTER MASTER V!
Doing the AoS way with daemons and mortals doesn't really make sense for 40k. I might be naive but I still hope this isn't true, because daemons have never been seperate in AoS but have been in 40k. Because I still believe we would have seen Be'lakor in CSM codex if this rumour was true.
I'm with you, but i think they expected there to be some blowback. We'll see what happens. All factions are getting a new detachment this month, which are going to be fully usable going forward. My thought here is that Daemons might get a Be'lakor specific detachment, and if they do, that's going to be how they handle it for this edition. If that happens and it's basically a Be'lakor RoR, i think that means the rumor is very likely true.
@vudoga6082 They said that daemons would get one detachment for each god at the championship preview. But I guess we will just have to wait and see, the detachments they get might instead be similar to brood brothers letting the chaos daemons play god-aligned units in their army. But again we will just have to wait and see.
Valrak is still traumatized by the one rumor he got wrong…
the moment he said thousand sons my brain went monkey mode neural activation😅
Well looking forward to the slaanesh marine kits, about time the emperors children got some love they well deserve it!!😊
Whispers of the Warp is likely the most said phrase part on this channel ^^
If noise marines will only come with 3 minis a box, they’d best make noise marines actually good.
Aw, come on. Give us the Acastus in plastic!
So no sonic dread? GW GIVE US OUR CHAOS DREADNOUGHT (and no the helbrute does not count unless you give us the legion specific upgrades!)!
Questoris Knights got removed from the 40K Knights on the site, and they were part resin so them getting a full plastic one makes those rumours more likely.
Be cool if Imperium and Chaos each a unique gear/ability option. The Imperium one a shield with maybe the Chaos one a teleport/deepstrike.
The champions had doomsirens
Looks like I’ll be saving money this year. Thanks!
Spicy video just in time for my weekly chaosgate session 😆

What's coming for Thousand Son's?
Oh boy :O
Glaive lord for EC, Valrak seems excited
Beep boop magic robots next monday!
How are you doing a watch along? Isn't that like a legal issue?
I’ve wanted to do a GK force since battle of fenris. But the character I wanted was metal/fine cast so have avoided it. Let’s see what they release.
Maybeeeee, I don't really wanna know, how your garden grows, cos I just wanna fly!
It is Monday, the sun has risen and Valrak the scammer has come to bring forth his scams.
When the plastic cerastus kits came out, GW said somewhere (i think it was a Facebook comment) that they'd release a questotis-esque kit, with the option to build either the lancer, castigator or acheron
Did the whispers say anything about that?
Rip Be’lakor.. hopefully he gets a pdf or something to put him in codex csm.
Would be a waste to send him to legends for 40k.
They did retroactively add the Night Lords Kill Team to the CSM codex, so it does not seem unlikely for Belakor to be added as well.
Belakor isn’t going anywhere. He’s a good selling model and just got a new sculpt not that long ago.
They will put him somewhere.
no chance hes going to legends
Wish they would do daemons undivided and take visual cues from Be'lakor.
My days. The Chaos Demon Facebook group are literally screaming with pitchforks that you mentioned the codex is going. 😂
Hizzah, can't wait to see the tyranid tactical rocks...
Also, you should mention how all the gobbos pictures he holding are emperors children related
Scams for the scam god.
If Daemons are not getting a codex does mean that they will not be supported as a faction in 11th edition?
Valrak, are there any whispers of a new 40k Warhammer Quest? It's been 6 years since blackstone fortress 😢
Nothing, mate
@@ChapterMasterValrak 🥲that's sad. I recently bought a blackstone fortress copy and I'm really enjoying the gameplay and setting.
Not refreshing the archaic old grey knight units would be a colossal L.
What about Deathwatch, who GW already said would get rules in December
I'm sorry, but I have to ask: where did you get that amazing Imperial Fists hoodie?
where can i get that Imperial Fist hoodie... looks so badass
So what happens to Belakor? Available only for Codex Chaos Space Marines or available for all 4 god flavours too?
i am confused as why the EC are having a chaos space marine legionares specific unit, noise marines were the equivalent to rubrics, plagues and berserkers so the base unit of each legion
It is odd, I think in heresy they were a specific unit (cacophonies or something) so maybe sticking to more heresy structure for them?
I think they might be doing this for lore reasons. In the recent books, Noise Marines aren't the base unit. Most EC are basically Legionnaires, with Noise Marines being more of an elite unit. Unlike the other 3, where this is true. So that might be what they are doing here.
Because the lore is different, not all emperors children are noise marines. They’ve always been an elite style troop
really is a Knight to remember
More incentive to break open Castellan Crowe and that OG Combat Patrol 😂
I want a Fellblade reveal for christmas.
Tyranid in kill team would be cool!
Any chance of middle Earth coverage? Getting into GWs lord of the rings game now it’s got a new edition and Hoping there’s more on the way for it
