  • Here at Kantalamba, I couldn’t wait to find some Tropheus moorii “red rainbow” but in typical Tropheus fashion they found me. 😂 Kantalamba, Tanzania - Lake Tanganyika

    I wish I had a chance to experience that once, namely diving with these beloved cichlids. What time of day do you dive? Can you pan the camera around before you go below for some context about where you are on the lake?

      This swim was about 12 - 2 PM, it was a cloudy day, but the water was pretty flat. I don't like to post a picture of the actual location, because not only do all you wonderful cichlid people ❤️ watch, so are the ruthless exporters.
