14 international teams battle it out in the Round 4 of the 2015 UIM XCAT World Series in the Gold Coast, Australia.
The UIM XCAT World Series truly is a spectacle of speed, with teams of two taking each other on in twin-engine carbon-fibre boats that tear around the course at speeds close to 200km per hour.
The Sport is being dubbed “The Greatest Motorsport Series on Water” and is epic to see this kind of Xtreme racing on unpredictable surfaces from boats that weigh nearly 2 tons, being powered by two 2-stroke engines giving a combined output of nearly 600 bhp.
The Gold Coast Grand Prix saw a new team 'Team Gold Coast' enter the prestigious world championship.
