Well done family, the corn harvest was great today, You can see your big children getting the hang of things & helping you out more, which is lovely to see. It's very interesting to see how different cultures cook. We all have unique techniques, some going back generations. The sticky corn was very popular at the markets today also. Apparently the people in the comments don’t realize Dia has 2 solar lights. One is outside- one inside. You can see it in the beginning of her last video. Too many comments on taking baths! Their clothes look clean the majority of the time to me, Dia works hard everyday so naturally she’s going to get dirty. I personally DON’T want to watch them bath. Keep up the good work Dia 👍

The kids are hungry, it's good to see them eating corn. They need food, bread, drinks. I think they only get that at school not at home. Nothing to eat, even the baby she cries when she's hungry.

I've never heard of corn on the cob, referred to as "sticky" corn. We buy it fresh from the store and bring it home and cook it. I boil it, roast it, or cut it off the cob and fry it with onions. I noticed how they were picking each lil' kernel off the cob. There's no need for that, just bite into it and eat it right off the cob. 😉
Maybe that’s how they do it in they country
When you pick it off, it lasts longer. I remember doing that as a kid. Boiled corn was so delicious. As children we would compete to see who would finish theirs last. So the slower you were you would most likely be the winner. Also we use to play guessing games when we had roast corn. Wonderful days

I don’t think they have bread like we do in western countries. When I went to China in 2009 I was shocked that you couldn’t buy sandwiches or bread in the bakery. Their way of life is different. You just have to accept that it’s different. They have dumplings, rice, vegetables etc. for their meals.

Boiled and roasted corn is a street delicacy food . They are fast food for those who love them. I enjoyed eating fresh corn , boiled or roasted. I grow corn in my farm twice in a year.the technology is very simple if you love farming. Dia i admire you and your desire to to take care of your family.
