Morissette and Darren was personally handpicked by 'Disney Philippines' to do the rendition of "A Whole New World" soundtrack for the live action movie Aladdin(within Philippine cinemas). Just like what Disney company did too to Malaysia, Taiwan, US and others. Both the WishBus and in the stage with press people performance was part of their promotion for the movie. This was an official Disney endorsed performance, Morissette's first foray into the world of Disney. They represented the Philippines when Aladdin was released years ago locally. She even has a video meeting up with Will Smith and the composer of the song Alan Menken (no slapping was involved in the video wink wink 😄).

First off, right at the beginning of this RV, when I saw Cindy was wearing a lavender shirt, i smiled and wondered whether you knew that Morissette was wearing the same color in her outfit in the Wish Bus performance. 😊 Anyway, Disney chose Mori and Darren to sing "A Whole New World" for the promotion of the live-action film "Aladdin" in the Philippines in 2019. The Wish Bus performance was part of that promotion, hence we could see a lot of "Aladdin" both outside and inside the bus, and, as Cindy quickly noted, Darren was wearing a genie lamp design necklace. This video is also one of the most viewed, at more than 30 million. By the way, did you know that the original singing voice of Jasmine in the "Aladdin" animated film was Lea Salonga, also a Filipina, a multi-awarded singer, who was also the singing voice of "Mulan" in the animated movie. Ryan & Cindy, another great one by her paired with Jason Dy (Dee) that has got too little attention is her Original " Diyan Ba Sa Langit" also done on Wish around this same time frame 3yrs ago..The Harmonies they brought to that Track were just to die for, and Mori let's loose a couple of times and it just takes your breath away! There is also an Official MV of it out. Highly recommend that one, sadly they didn't include any CC's for the lyrics, but with those two, didn't need them. Actually, a great artist should never outshine his/ her co artist. She/He should adapt to the volume, pitch, etc of their co-artist to make the song seamless and harmonious. In other words, it is not really flattering to Morisette if you comment that she outsings almost all her co-artist because it means she's acting like a diva and only wants attention for herself (which Morisette does not) instead of the song being a collaborative effort. Take an example of Katrina Velarde. She likes to collaborate with not so known artist so that she can share her limelight with them but she never outsings them even though we all know she can very well can.
