Shao is actually good in MK11, everybody thinks he's bad because they think they're still playing MKX 😂 It's really about who the player is that's using him, how smart they are, how reactive to situations they are, how they approach the game, and of course their knowledge of matchups. If you just want to constantly rush your opponent down with mid strings or plus frame pressure them, then yes, you may get bad results & he may not be for you. If you can make reads & use his amazing punish abilities & learn how to play him safe in the neutral & use his crazy space control & anti-zoning tech efficiently, well then it's gonna be very hard for people to beat your Shao Kahn. If they ever decide to give him some safe mids he will be above every top tier character in the game, that's why he's designed the way he is. It actually takes a lot of hard work & critical thinking to use him & succeed. He's not the auto-pilot character that everybody wants him to be. 🙄 If you struggle getting wins with him then that's just a reflection of how skilled you are as a player 😉
I don't know, I hated fighting M Bison when I was a kid. Other characters were hard to beat but he was by far the hardest. I remember I was Chun-Li when I first beat him and that was it

But come on, Shao Kahn is 99,950 years older than M Bison and has way more combat experience.

Dover Ben In MK:A, Shao Kahn plots to kill Onaga by way of poison, rather than fighting him. Onaga has tanked the combined power of Shang Tsung, Quan Chi and Raiden. Onaga is certainly the most powerful MK character, even if he doesn't "exist" per se in the reboot timeline.
Also killing all those people and some killing others would have so much power (including those other kombat guys being killed) would easily beat Bison.

I played Mortal Kombat going against Shao Kahn he has too much health, the special moves hardly do damage to him plus he has this ability, is that when you hit him, he doesn't even show the sign from being hit and does his attack like nothing happens plus he also has overpowered attack his normal damage would do three times as much as any character and his special move literally takes almost 3/4th of your health more likely instantly killing you, and this is only on normal, his flaw is in certain times he'll laugh or point at you calling you weak leaving him open for attacks, on hardest level which took me 30mins to beat he rarely laughs and calls you weak
any attack of Shao Kahn's that has the green energy is ludicrously powerful and that is because he is channelling souls to strengthen it. he is most well known for those attacks...hell he TAUGHT Shang Tsung how to drain souls...what did you think Shao Kahn was capable of? when Shao Kahn says "is that your best" after a nightmare booster...that is when you know Bison is fucked :P

I do like that fun fact. Basically they wanted a short buff guy then scale him up. Makes sense because most tall guys are usually thin/long..... However, the edit is obvious. Of course they had to stretch out the sprite because most actors/stuntmen are not over 7feet tall.

This fight was a foregone conclusion really. Shao Kahn is a nigh-immortal demigod with stupid amounts of power and experience. Compared to him, Bison is just a guy with some psychic powers. The fact that Bison's powers destroy his own body means he can never make full use of them. Shao Kahn wins... Flawless Victory.
That's basically what his super-form is: Unleashing his full power at the expense of quickly destroying his current body. But still, using soul powers on a guy who feeds on souls isn't a good way to win.

Also, the only time Kahn was properly 100% killed was at the end of MK9 (spoilers for a game pretty much everyone has played.) Bison came back from hell because he's really evil and strong willed and stuff, but Kahn can literally eat his soul, and if I had to bet money on who would come out on top in a battle of wills, I'd bet on the 10,000+ year old interdimensional conqueror any day.

Which is not true. This is Death Battle we're talking about and most of the time they just put the favor on their own favorite characters for the win. Of course with the exception of the Goku Vs Superman fights, at least that one was accurate. Anyone who thought Goku will be the one to beat Superman was completely out of his damn mind.
One of my favorite death battles. The only thing wrong I find with this episode, is that Shao Khan could keep up with M.Bison's teleport attacks. How it really should have ended was Shao Khan taking the punishment, and taking M. Bison's soul after his body was destroyed.
Honestly, I think M Bison should have taken the win. I'm not saying this because I'm a SF fan but the Capcom are on another level in terms of sheer power itself. Bison fought Guile, Ryu and Ken at the same time and it took a double shinku hadoken to just knock him temporarily before at the end he went back to fight Ryu alone, even if you managed to beat him. He could easily transport his soul to another body. Akuma destroyed an island just for laughs, Ken managed to block Evil Ryu's Metsu hadoken which many people have not survived by using the mu no Ken ability. Ryu managed to lift and hold a boulder God knows how much it weighs while Oro, an ancient hermit/warrior with an unknown infinite strength was sitting at the top of it while holding another one with just one hand. The Oro character doesn't need any introductions, you can learn more about him in the wiki.

Bison has had trouble conquering earth, alone and has died multiple times.
But then, got his ass beaten my Kitana. MK11 Shao Kahn is weak. He seems getting weaker in every game, while Bison becomes stronger

I do like that fun fact. Basically they wanted a short buff guy then scale him up. Makes sense because most tall guys are usually thin/long..... However, the edit is obvious. Of course they had to stretch out the sprite because most actors/stuntmen are not over 7feet tall.

This fight was a foregone conclusion really. Shao Kahn is a nigh-immortal demigod with stupid amounts of power and experience. Compared to him, Bison is just a guy with some psychic powers. The fact that Bison's powers destroy his own body means he can never make full use of them. Shao Kahn wins... Flawless Victory.

Also, the only time Kahn was properly 100% killed was at the end of MK9 (spoilers for a game pretty much everyone has played.) Bison came back from hell because he's really evil and strong willed and stuff, but Kahn can literally eat his soul, and if I had to bet money on who would come out on top in a battle of wills, I'd bet on the 10,000+ year old interdimensional conqueror any day.

One of my favorite death battles. The only thing wrong I find with this episode, is that Shao Khan could keep up with M.Bison's teleport attacks. How it really should have ended was Shao Khan taking the punishment, and taking M. Bison's soul after his body was destroyed.
Honestly, I think M Bison should have taken the win. I'm not saying this because I'm a SF fan but the Capcom are on another level in terms of sheer power itself. Bison fought Guile, Ryu and Ken at the same time and it took a double shinku hadoken to just knock him temporarily before at the end he went back to fight Ryu alone, even if you managed to beat him. He could easily transport his soul to another body. Akuma destroyed an island just for laughs, Ken managed to block Evil Ryu's Metsu hadoken which many people have not survived by using the mu no Ken ability. Ryu managed to lift and hold a boulder God knows how much it weighs while Oro, an ancient hermit/warrior with an unknown infinite strength was sitting at the top of it while holding another one with just one hand. The Oro character doesn't need any introductions, you can learn more about him in the wiki.
