The system has 4 types of trains the new C30 and the older C20, C14, C15 and C6 trains this video features clips of most of them including interior

The mistake people tend to do when they film subways is to choose a Sunday. It is more interesting to see how it works during rush hour.
I agree, but thats not always possible :D
You've got more chance of annoying people by blatantly filming them though
More people would cover the view of the trains

C20 is the true sound of true "Train Sounds" ASMR to me
I've lived and worked in Stockholm for 1 year in 2015-2016, and a lot of great memories came to my mind while watching this video! I've also been to some of the stations you showed in the video. Thank you so much!
By the way, I didn't take C30 (obviously), however, C6 was the type of train I took rather often since I used the red line mostly. It was interesting experience comparing to more modern trains:)
Thanks for sharing! Sadly none of the few old C6 remaining were out on the day i was filming, but the C30 really are nice trains!
5:05 that overground stretch is historically interesting, it uses the bridge where the first ever rail connection ran, between north and south of Stockholm (Sammanbindningsbanan)
The tunnels and bridges have been repurposed in fancy ways since then. The through mainline rail was made into a sharper curve to free up this corridor for metro. And commuter rail was later sent in an even sharper curve into an immersed tube tunnel.
I miss the metro very efficient intern of time
The Cx-trains usually only run on weekdays now sadly. The C6 in particular is almost fully retired and only scheduled for two “turer” on TUB2 daily. The C14s are still quite common on TUB3 but they’re also getting rarer now.
Ah that be why i could not find any, i shot this on a sunday. Thanks for the info!

Now all CX trains have been taken out of service forever. The last day a CX train was in service was February 10, 2024.

What does the driver speak before departure on each station?
"train towards skarpnäck, watch out for the doors, doors are closing"
I took skarpnäck as an example.
How come the new train is only at red line not other lines
I was there on a weekend many months ago so not many were in service
It has to do with the new signal system to allow for driverless trains in a few years.
The other lines will be updated accordingly in coming years plus a new line is been built as we speak.
so queer now recognising the retro-esqueness to that modern clockface over the Rådmansgatan platform; I miss that look 🍸
