you should play hypixel on 1.8 instead of 1.9+ like in this video, the combat system was changed and although hypixel developed a pvp plugin for 1.9+ players to be able to spam click pvp the plugin is very flawed and you are better off using 1.8.9 specifically (your pvp will feel easier and more hits will register). To play on 1.8 you can change your minecraft version in the launcher OR (and this is what i recomend) use a mod client like lunar client or badlion.
