- Our first time in Hong kong Disneyland ✨️🩵
As a celebration of my cousin's 20th birthday we flew to HK to celebrate and make her special day magical.
If only we had a dedication to vlog everything during our trip it could have been more detailed in the video but let me tell you the story behind everything we did in HK 😊
With our FREE bus voucher going to Macau, it was actually from Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) promo campaign offering a complimentary one-way tix from Hong Kong to Macao direct ferry or bus services until the end of this year 2024 only. You can book it via their website.
We actually arrived in HK around 2:00 ‐ 3:00 am 😭 and yes this is sooo tiring, RED EYE flights are cheap but a headache and exhausting. Got to our hotel at almost 5:00 am, we can't still check in because there are no avail rooms yet and usually check in time is around afternoon. We just change our clothes in our hotel lounge and got back to the airport for our supposed to be cross country trip but yeah as I said in the video the free vouch is only applicable after HK immig and we're not supposed to go out in the arrivals. For short we did not double check our free voucher we booked via MGTO :(
As a Gen Z-llenial and aunt sometimes lol I told my cousin we could just rest and have our first meal for about an hour in the airport then go back to our hotel around 10:00 - 11:00 am and luckily the hotel staff told us we can now check in 🙏🏻 Afternoon we really had a good sleep and I woke up almost 6:00 pm as I am dead tired from our flight.
Visited Donki knowing we can have our dinner bites in the store but it's too expensive there. My tip is to look for Lung Fung Mall the cheapest store where you can buy all your needs, souvenir, snacks, luxury perfumes and more. We also compared some of the items we got in Donki it's really cheaper here. We're also looking for some fast food or restaurant that offers rice because as filipino we cannot eat without rice 😭 but even Mcdonald's doesn't offer rice. Likely, we survived with convenient store foods.
Second day is our full day and it's Disneyland day ❤️ we booked via KLOOK, we got the one with early access pass to the world of frozen. We also had lunch in Royal Banquet Hall the food there is really good we even take home some of our leftover. Please expect and it is given that an amusement park has expensive price of food and drinks. We enjoyed our day in disneyland even our feet are all in pain and blister already.
Our last day basically just full of stroll and little shopping in Mongkok where the ladies market, mini outlets, cafes, GU and the best place to shop for your "pasalubong" the Lung Fung Mall. I recommend for you to shop in Lung Fung Mall because basically everything you need is there and it's more cheaper than DonKi.
To wrap everything off, I would say Hong kong is expensive but a perfect place to visit for fun and food.
That's all for now, we'll see you again on our next travel with my bestie cousin soon.
Thank you for watching!
