- Took out the Ducati Scrambler 1100 out for a short spin and I had to endure some rain. That's when I missed my waterproof gear like these Klim Adventure GTX GoreTex books, which are almost perfect riding boots. Did some small repairs on it to make sure they are ready for the big rides. Personally I dont like the looks of speed twin. Infact i don't like classic bikes. If you place speed twin alongside of CB350 and interceptor 650 you wont find the difference.The scrambler isn't a classic but a go anywhere kind of a machine and I love it. The scrambler looks like its been taken out from a movie its pretty. And exhaust pipes gives a different character to the overall looks of the bike. And love your 850GS. Good color choice. God bless
