1:43 when you modify time audio gets distorted robotic, to fix: right click > properties > lock to stretch. 2:20 right click on clip > insert/remove envelopes > velocity

Not sure why the Velocity bar wouldn't be showing up. My best guess is try the steps on the Scrapyard Films Molotov Cocktail. Search that in RUclips and it has a lot of steps you can follow.

It seriously boggles my mind that ive been using various versions of premiere and vegas since 2003 and STILL somehow no version of current vegas can properly do a cut to slow that syncs with audio like premier has for literally 15 years at this point lol.

Ok so if I have 60 fps clips and slow them 50% to go along side normal speed 60 fps clips what am I supposed to render the video at for the best visuals for the video? Seems like I can't find any help on this so any help would be greatly appreciated. If I render the video at 30 fps the slow mo looks good but the rest of the video is a little motion blurry. If I render the video at 60fps the slow mo look slightly motion blurry. I have disable resample on everything. Any help on this??

dude when i do velocity on a certain clip for some reason when it raise it , it keeps on going in the same clip like in the one clip its playing out the whole video damn it i don't know how to explain it hopefully you understand

Sure I'll work on it. Off the top of my head you might have to do individual key frame masking and could take a while. But I'll see if there's an automated way

Vegas Pro 16 still does not have a proper speed up/slow down function like Premiere Pro does. The bad part of Velocity is that it doesn't drag the end of the clip, so you'll have the same length clip even after it was sped up, and it will repeat itself. Audio is also desynchronized...
Correct. Vegas hasn't been good at proper slowing compared to other software. I have a more in depth velocity tutorial That I just uploaded a week ago that goes more in depth on the best way to make audio emulate as if it were slowing down and speeding up to match the videos velocity
you need to click on your clip then properties then tick out loop..
Is it impossible to slow clip down like you did with velocity but with sound? You said that you have video about that but couldnt find it. If its not possible, can I do it with premiere?

when i right click on clip > insert/remove envelopes > it only has 1 option: freeze frame at cursor (which also does nothing obvious when i tried to use the feature to bypass snapshot 1st frame freeze). i just want a simple numeric box to precisely control speed of clip aka 201% that you can't do with drag technique. also, i can't see 'clip length' anywhere or % speed' when i should (all view options are selected). ideas?
For the second method, can you first detach the audio then edit the video only.
And afterwards fit the audio back?
Yes you can but there is no way to use velocity on audio like this unfortunately

I have like 100h of dashcam videos from my trip through Scandinavia. Problem is I need to speed it up to cca 10000%. Could you recommend some software for it? Mind you that all of these are just 3 min clips per file... :) Thx
Vegas can do up to 1000% faster using velocity then if you also hold control and drag the clip shorter, it will go even further
I slowed down my clip and locked the audio to stretch all of a sudden Lil Tecca had a deeper voice then Morgan Freeman please help
Locking the pitch will do that. You won't be able to drag the clip too far one way or the other without raising and lowering the pitch

bruh what keys are u clicking on, please call out the keys you pressing this is literally my first time using this...
I have few questions:
1) If u registered with OBS what output format did u chose? because Sony Vegas cant load .mkv file and if i convert the video i lose the quality and frame rate from 60fps to 30fps.
2) League let you download the replays in .mkv format is there a good software to convert .mkv file to a readable format for Sony vegas without loosing the quality and frame rate?
3) What video format is usually used to make videos? (mp4, wmv, MPEG4...) while im new in video editing i dont understand the difference between them apart from the resolution.
Also this is my result after watching your tutorial (bad quality for the reason above), 1st attemp with sony vegas just installed it :p

Just curious, when shooting in 4K 60fps on GoPro 7 black, my playback is super , super slow and laggy in Vegas pro 16 ? Why ? I’m seeing all these awesome vids people put out but I can’t seem to make a good clip 🤨🤨. Seem 2.7 k at 60fps plays better . Any ideas ? Thanks
Editing in 4k takes A LOT of resources and a really good computer. You can try editing using proxy. If you right click on the source footage in project media, you should see a "Proxy" option in there. That basically allows you to trim your footage MUCH easier. But as soon as you add effects to it, you'll have to re-proxy it.
Hey man! Just found ur channel and i love it, i need ur help regarding rearranging clips in such a way that when a clip is inserted between two clips the two clips automatically make space for the third one, i.e. the clip sits between the 2 clips which were already there, i hope u got what i mean, Thanks!!!

pff I'm trying to slow down a clip in sony vegas pro 17, the footage was filmed with a 20.000 USD camera so it CANT be the problem.. my footage isn't fluently at all. why does this guy have flawless movements in slowmotion
I'm pulling my hair out with proper time-lapsing parts of my tutorials using factors other than 400%.
Need to keep follow-up parts of the same media in sync video- and audio-wise.
This just drives me crazy.
